LC, Sho and Ep.G. Crossover
« on: March 04, 2015, 04:03:57 AM »
So there will be a small manga crossover manga released together with the next volume of each of the series.

Quoting jeorgegeminis though i believe the volume numbering is wrong as these were released last year

Special Manga Crossover
It will be co-worked on by Megumu Okada (EpG/A), CHimaki Kuori (SSho) and Shiori Teshirogi (LC/G) and will be raffled between those who buy the following volumes:

    EpG Assassin Vol.1

Saintia Sho Vol. 3 (Cadejos: shouldn’t it be 4? It’s the most recent…?)

    LC Gaiden Vol.12 (Aspros)

There is no info about the plotline yet, but based on the cover, it seems it will include the main characters of each spin-off.

I only thought they were drawing each other characters in twitter!

great news!

btw, Saintia Sho's author art is excellent and suitable for Episode G! Imagine if Episode G manga had the same level of Saintia Sho's art! (the best art of Shura so far)

Yeah, i don't know if this is actually confirmed yet: i saw it att Saint Seiya Zone.

I know they did draw eachothers characters for a special gallery last december. But this uplay of the characters is new.

Okada can draw the "futsu" style too however he has his own style...when you see it you say it's Okada while Kuori...there is nothing special about it.

Okada's detail and colouring are already great, but if you are talking about his drawing style, he does it on purpose. Like Seiya said, he can draw other styles too, I'm sure you already know this but many artists start off by copying others and then end up with styles that are unique to them. He sticks to his current style because he likes it, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the skill to draw other styles if he wanted to...you know, unlike Kuru.

That being said, I agree that this is by far the best official artwork for Shura :)

"Futsu?"  What does that mean?  Realistic?

The ordinary/common style that most mangaka have...and you can't tell who has drawn it.

Well, I'll give you that Okada's style is certainly unique.  Do you have any of his futsu stuff on-hand?

It was on his Twitter, I stopped using Twitter about a year ago...so I am not sure if he is still posting drawings.

hm, teshirogi is still the best of the three... but its comparing apples to orange, everything pales in comparison to epG in terms of details. sho, so far, is still pretty average compare to the other two.

I like Kuori and Teshirogi the best, they draw the characters really handsome and cool... ^-^

I still like Okada too, the cloths look like they have a ton of details carved into them, and the super exaggerated figures are kinda fun, especially in action scenes.
