holyshit, you actually watched it... I skipped through most of this so I don't even noticed these details... er, no, I m not watching it again. once is enough. you saved me the trouble of wasting my time. thanks! LOLOLOL

Of course I watched the whole thing...in high def too...and twice...the first time I watched it alone and the second time I watched it with my girlfriend because I wanted a second opinion and she pretty much said the same thing I did.

P.S You mean you haven't watched it? oO
I always watch anything that has to do with Saint Seiya...but I will always judge it the way it is...and I have to say LoS was WORSE than Omega, I always thought that Omega was the worst thing I have ever seen from Saint Seiya but I was so wrong.

I don't think there is any need to redo arcs in the manga into movies because all you are doing is rushing things. I know other animes do movies that are different from the manga. I know the other Saint Seiya movies were different except the last one was suppose to be part of the manga but Kurumada did not like it.

I kinda watched it... the same way I watch WWE nowadays, by fast forwarding.... I just so happened to land on deathmask and thoroughly love the new deathmask... other than that, I fast forwarded a lot...

Oh I forgot something else in my review. What also bugged me is that Aiolia had a lip piercing that isn't Aiolia's character to me. Did any other characters have that?

the same way I watch WWE nowadays, by fast forwarding....

I hear so many people say that about WWE it's honestly a bit depressing.  I guess they've gone downhill?  About the only wrasslin' I've been watching with any sort of regularity is the NJPW stuff that's been coming on AXS TV.  That's some good stuff.

I don't think there is any need to redo arcs in the manga into movies because all you are doing is rushing things. I know other animes do movies that are different from the manga. I'm curious as to who was behind the whole "reboot" idea for this movie.  I get that it was supposed bring in new fans, but, as you say, there's too much stuff to cram into one movie.  Did the credits give any indication as to who it was?  Was it just some committee?

No comment on the new Deathmask...

That did not bother me much as this one...

It's fake what did you expect? It's like watching a B movie...everything is pre-determined. They do put a good show I give them that but still...I grew up with the fake...was WWE ever real? just wondering...

I guess they've gone downhill?

they've gone downhill since the pg era and cena being the top dog. while I respect the man's work ethic, he clearly is a paper champ that the company pushed while nowhere near Austin nor the Rock. I've always hated the "divas" division, with the exception of AJ Lee, Natalya Neidhart, and Paige. all others have no place on TV. after the benoit tragedy, bryan Danielson is the next BEST technical wrestler on their roster, while dean ambrose, seth rollins, bray wyatt, and cesaro are all very entertaining. and oh yes, NEW JAPAN is always awesome to watch!

anyways, back to the review...
You actually like that part?...a little unexpected, lol. It's a little too Disney for me :P

I honestly thought it was the high point of the movie, and that's sayin a lot of how much the movie sucked. but then again, I always like these goofy characters. :)

my first intro to pro wrestling was All Japan Pro, and the way they wrestled scared the crap outta me, of how stiff they were. then I came to the states and saw WWF, and one Saturday afternoon segment killed the entire mystery of "pro wrestling is real."

I m huuuuuuuuge fan of combat sports, that's why I love MMA. pro wrestling is always like a movie with no do over for me. sometimes it's fun to watch the drama and the guys' athleticism, sometimes it is just horrible. i hope no one above the age of 6 nowadays think that pro wrestling is real. i hope. but i will always enjoy watchin it, if it aint bad.

It could have potential to be a bit better if the faces aren't rainbow (make it white, grey or black an add some effects to make them look a bit more eerie) and if Deathmask could sings a bit better.

2. What about (Thai) Boxing? ;D

1. i thought it was fun and creepy for this new deathmask,

2. oh hell yea, i love muay thai and learned it for about a year or so after college. it was MMA that i took after college. wrestling, judo, boxing, MMA, BJJ, all were taught in class. my first instructor was a competing MMA fighter, no one really famous, but a very good teacher. if anything, i would say muay thai and judo are a very good combination as the MT clinches can open up a lot of judo throws. just my personal opinion.

1. Well...it is called World Wrestling Entertainment after all...should have thought of that first xD. Are you saying you had to watch the thing live to realize that it was fake? I watched it on TV so many times and yes...you can actually tell how fake it is....still people like it the same way they like any other movies that involves combat.

2. Me too, I love combat sports. Up to this day I don't regret for having wrestling as my hobby. If I become a veteran that's fine...I will keep it up to whatever it takes me.

It's like a stage play or a movie:  the actors have to do a good job to make you believe, and there's some brands out there that are doing just that.

As for WWE's reality, not quite.  While there've been occasions where someone legitimately tried to injure another wrestler on there due to a beef they had, or they decided to actually fight (whether one of them was willing or not), it has always been staged.  Even back in the 50s.  And it's the same for pro wrestling around the world.

You know, it's funny.  Pro wrestling took a huge hit in popularity in the US once the WWE admitted that it was all staged, yet I don't believe that ever happened in Japan.  I guess Rikidozan had a huge affect on post-war Japan.  "Here's this Japanese guy beating up an American!" must've helped Japan get their balls back.

they've gone downhill since the pg era and cena being the top dog. while I respect the man's work ethic, he clearly is a paper champ that the company pushed while nowhere near Austin nor the Rock. I've never liked Cena; he just looks so generic.  Granted, I've heard he had some good matches back in the Ruthless Aggression era, so maybe I need to give those a watch.  Yeah, the divas suck.  They don't have a place in modern society now that we have porn on the internet.

Speaking of women's pro wrestling, I've head good things about stuff from the '80s.  Would you know anything about that?

I've been on the edge of my seat every week that NEW JAPAN's been on TV.  It's so good.

1. well, back then, it was called world wrestling federation, but that's not the point. I take it as you've never watched Japanese Pro Wrestling, but I can tell you Pro Wrestling in Japan is quite different. as a 5 or 6 yr old kid, if you watch Japanese pro wrestling that early, there is no way in hell you will know that it is scripted as the wrestler literally "hit" each other. when I was 7, i watched WWF and one show with hulk Hogan dispelled all the myth. Hogan is... just lame. if you haven't watched all japan pro in the 80's, give it a try. it is really stiff.

2. hobby or not, I believe a man must be able to stand up for himself or his love ones. there are times when you HAVE TO fight, so any type of martial arts is better than none. call me old school, but that's how I see it. I wanna learn krav maga and some knife fighting too :D

oh dude, you must try these women wrestlers: Toyota Manami (my all time favorite), hokuto akira, and of course, AJA KONG!!!!

@SageofTime: raigami is king of digression :p
But really, it's hard not to go off-topic here when most people don't like LoS. Poor LoS. It does have its moments ^^
