He had been doing Next Dimension for quite a while, maybe he just needs a bit of time on other work to get back into it.

Or he could just want to return to some other old works before continuing. This might not be a long work.

Otoko Zaka was only what?  A volume?  I don't think this'll be much different.

At this point I don't really care if he gets StS finished, considering what his past few updates have been like.  Who knows?  Maybe he needs to get these manga off his mind and we can seem some actual progress with ND.  Otherwise, I'm fine with him doing this stuff for the rest of his life.  It's worked for Go Nagai, hasn't it?

Is that the size of the chapters? That was like a half chapter in length (akin to the first couple of ND chapters). Maybe he got a bunch of small chapters done early.

Given he's returning several series at once? Not at all. If it lets him do chapters at a half-way decent pace/with other stuff, then it's fine.

Yeah, it's only about 8 pages long... But it was called a "Special Chapter", after all. It was nothing more than a prologue to an actual return of Zaji. Granted, what I've looked at of Zaji's original three chapters makes me wonder what exactly Kurumada can do to improve on it; the original chapters were pretty barebones & generic, honestly.

Hmm...  Maybe he's just looking for an excuse to do delinquent stuff again?  Didn't he get his start working on a fairly popular delinquent manga?  Maybe he's feeling nostalgic for the old days.

I don't think Sukeban Arashi was a popular title, since it only lasted about 2.5 volumes long.
