on't know about that, considering it took them several years to actually start animating the Hades arc.
I don't think they're planning to make more filler episodes. SS isn't as popular as it used to be (with all of Japan being totally into DBZ), so if Kurumada decides to quit, that's pretty much it for the anime imo. Manga spin-offs are doing well apparently, so maybe that'll continue...

that series has gone on to long. if it had been shorter i think i would have been okay with it.

I was never a fan of DBZ.   Some of the fights drag on waaaaay to long and I got bored.

DB was awesome at the time, but yeah some of the episodes do go on for like ages, though i do have the say the story line interlinks fairly well. it does drag on in certain bits but you do get a decent bit of the storyline after each episode.

The Dragon Ball manga is great. The show has tons of problems because for a lot of it, they were animating it as new chapters were being released in Jump magazine. The show takes forever because they had to stall for time with filler.

I with they'd re-edit or reanimate the show so that it's short and concise like the manga. It'd be a lot easier for viewers to appreciate. I doubt they'd do it but who knows? Demand for Dragon Ball never seems to go away especially since it finally succeeded in America.

Almost every anime has this problem, apart from those specifically written as animes (like Escaflowne). Saint Seiya also has a lot of filler material (a whole arc, which I don't mind, but the pre-sanctuary part goes on for waaaaaaaay too long), as do other great series like Rurouni Kenshin (almost half of the series is filler... Jinchuu arc was never even animated)

Actually Escaflowne has the opposite problem - it was cut towards the end and its final outcome was a bit rushed...

True, but it wasn't as disturbing (imho) as is the case with SS.
Escaflowne was a bit rushed maybe (especially the final episode), but it still felt great.

Dragonball was the best, didn't you just LOVE waiting for 7 episodes for goku to charge for a spirit bomb, only to miss freeza? Good Stuff. And i especially liked how goku kept coming back into the series when he's been killed off....836482364598743 times!! Truly the best anime ever

DB/DBZ was good up until the the Buu Saga (which happened to be too long) I havent seen GT.
Also they kinda made the other characters useless.

True, apart from the Saiya-jins, no one really has a chance vs most of the opponents...
