there is already a tread for this game in the saint seiya section.
I want it so bad. I have the sanctuary chapter (jap version) and when I got the Hades Chapter...i forgot it was a PAL version....and it didn't work on my TV. STUPID AMERICAS!!

I have it Jap version, if you are willing to pay for the shipping I can send it to you.

I remember playing this game when I was in Spain, if it wasn't for the PAL Logo this game would be a part of my Saint Seiya collection. Say... does anyone know if the PS3 can play games that come from outside of North America?  hyoga

I believe the PS3 is region free, yes.

Well that's good, now I have to find a way to ship the game from Europe... Any Europeans willing to ship me a copy, I'll pay for the shipping and the game of course.  hyoga

I was just wondering if anyone here actually played the game and if it was any good?
The press hates it, but I rather believe a fan  Wink.
Thanx

I play both games. When I first got the Sanctuary 12 Temple game. I was really excited. I finished it but after a while, I was sick of it. I really hate the game play.

For the Hades, it was better, they improved the game play and it's fun. But I still hate how the big bang attack is launch the same way. You have to hit the opponent to release the attack. I wished they did something different. I am busying with work and updating my website so I only got half of the hidden stuff but I got most of the characters. It really cool to play with Aiolos. My fav though is Shiryu, because he can launch Excalibur and 100 Dragon attack. That's cool!

If one day, they release a game with simple game play like Gundam DX, Gundam Z: Gundam vs Z Gundam that would be great.

Cheers

hey guys, I have a fat ps2, and I wanted to play this game for a long time now.
I got swapmagic 3.6 but it won't load on my ps2. well, it kinda does but it always goes back to the browser.

anyone know of a way to play this on my ps2 other than swap magic or modchip?

Well, if you're in America or Europe... buy it...?

That's not meant to sound cheeky! =3

I was under the impression it had received an official NTSC release... I don't have the time to check right now, and sorry if I got your hopes up and I'm wrong. Azn;

But I own a legit PAL version, bought in a store here in England, so I'd be surprised if it hadn't been released in the States. >_>

ah, well I think even if it was NTSC it wouldn't work unless it was the right region code right?

I just hope I get the ps3 soon, then I wouldn't have to worry about region codes xD

This might be a stupid question but I got this game and I was wondering how exactly does the whole system work when you do a special attack?

When someone (we'll call them the attacking player) hits a Big Bang, a button will appear for a split second on-screen. If the defending player can press it while it's up, you'll go to the One Thousand Wars minigame, with both characters trying to force a huge ball of Cosmo onto the other.

Here, the attacking player just has to mash buttons as fast as they can (the four main buttons, you know), while the defending player has to press the specific buttons that appear, in the order they come. If the defending player can keep it up until the timer runs out, the attacking player's Big Bang is stopped in its tracks, and the defending player performs their own automatically.

That help? I tried to cover both sides, rather than just say what you have to do when *you* hit with one, 'cos there's a chance you'll get hit by some, too. =]

Yes thank you that helped a lot. That should make playing the game make more sense at least.

Also remember most characters' Forward + X attack will pop the opponent up into the air, where they're vulnerable to juggling or a quick Big Bang (L1 + Square can hit most guys when they're in midair, the other two are trickier).

Oh, and as for unlocking the Cloth Myth figures, don't pay ANY attention to the one guide on GameFAQs. It's almost totally wrong (for instance, it claims completing Saint Legend with Final Cloth Ikki unlocks Pandora's Cloth Myth; it ACTUALLY unlocks Nachi's).
