I saw a 2nd hand one at USD65, so I didn't even dare look at a 1st hand one... It might turn me to a glacier... 

The thing is I bought my Syd  in Japan and it was only 2000 Yen... I was so happy!!

I remember thinking $20.00 U.S. was kind of on the high side for the old figures back in the late 80's and early 90's... I would never have imagined how happy I would be to pay that (or even twice that) for new Saint Seiya figures twenty some odd years later. Heck, I didn't think there would be "new" Saint Seiya anything twenty years later.

Philip, you used to be on the old Saint Seiya ML back in the mid 1990's didn't you?

Heh, I dun remember much from those days of ML as I only post occasionally and it was on my first Notebook; more of a reader there, and only certain people's names there stick in my mind. And it doesn't help that even tho' the ML is still there (but relatively dead), can't access past posts   o_O

Heh, still remember the SS Jokes I think I got off there and printed out, or someone achieved into a webpage (whose link is probably lost now with Geocities gone); about the Gold Saints going to Macdonald, Shaka(?) get sick, why the Chicken crossed the street etc etc.

NAH! I need to complete the set before going into EX Series....it's only gonna be the 12 Gold Saints for me anyway and I had skipped on the Bronze Boys (except their God Cloths), Asgard Warrior, Silver Saints and most of the Marine Generals.

Don't say I didn't warn you guys. I said it multiple times about the antics of Bandai...

Anyway my rule is always buy what you love so no matter what happens, you still love the stuff you have...

If I was Zeus, I would trike down some Bandai execs and at the same time strike down those freaking speculators out there who pushed the price way beyond it should...
