The most dramatic to me was when Shiryu fought Perseus by himself. His two friends were stone and he tried everything from blindfolding himself to using his dragon shield. I was expecting that Ikki and Hyoga were going to pop in at the nick of time to help him. He sacrifices one of the most valuable things for a fighter just to kill one man who carried around a cheap weapon.

Most of the good dramatic scenes have been mentioned already, like all the Shaka scenes and Hyoga vs. Camus.  Love those.

Another that made me sad was the scene where Orphee gives his final farewell to Eurydice before going with Seiya and Shun to fight Hades.  I thought it was really touching, him staying with her for as long as he did, and then realizing he has to go off and fight for Athena again.

Hades - Sanctuary still feels like one of the most dramatic arcs for me:

- Mu realizing that the souls of Saga, Camus and Shura are crying tears of blood. I don't know, the lighting, the camera angle, it's quite eerie.
- I agree with AuroraExecution on the double Athena Exclamation. I think it's one of the best Goldies/Bronzies scene in the entire anime - you get a real sense of connection, respect and compassion.
- Saga's hand reaching for Athena as she dies - silly overplayed little detail that gets me every time.
- Milo withholding Antares on Kanon

Dang! And the the Wailing Wall! Dang! By the time they got to Elysion, I was so devastated I just couldn't care anymore.

Oh my God, Cassios...it couldn't make me like him, but it didn't stop me from bawling.

Kanon vs. Rhada - I was dumb and somehow thought Kanon was going to live.

Shiryu vs. Shura - I'm never going to forgive Shiryu for this.

Ikki about to kill Shun/Hades and changing his mind.

Ikki fighting with Seiya about Shiryu's blindness - What a jerk, I just love him.

And of course I must address Shaka's death.  For me, it was little kid Shaka falling over that did it.  (OMG, here come the waterworks.)

I believe that the whole Hades Sanctuary OVA Arc was dramatic - especially the scene in which Athena died and when Douko and Shion conversed after Seiya and the others headed to Hades' Castle.

I totally agree.. SS is the anime with so many dramatic scenes.. tragic characters that ends tragically too.. so many melancholy moments.. sadly it's sad not happy things Sad .. and I agree to "why Camus has to sacrifice himself, isn't enough only to show the techniques"

It's pretty hard to call which scene was most dramatic for me.. but i suppose it would be the battle between Hyoga and Camus since it occurred to me first. It was pretty moving.

its not just camus and hyoga, but the speech they have before they fall down. i just love the delivery of their lines, and the background music to it.

another one is when ikki confesses to seiya in the manga that they're really brothers.

- All the final confonts with the goldies, alphabetically:
Shun shows how powerful Nebula Stream can be to Aphrodite. (At first I thought he is the weakest bronze saint of the 5, but this scene prove he isn't)
Shiryu volunteers to die to defeat Shura
Hyoga and Camus exchange Aurora Execution
- Shiryu defeat Alberich's most powerful technique with his Rozan Shou Ryu Ha.
- Shun can't defeat Mime with Nebula Storm (how can that be? he survives merely by a ... pillar???)
- CASSIOS!!!
- Seiya was lifted from the cliff by 7 jewels, then wore Odin's most powerful cloth

Everything mentioned in this thread is why I love saint seiya so much. Its so dramatic with so many emotions. The sense of friendship and the sacrifices everyone makes. Its such a touching and moving story filled with tragedy and heartbreak. Its just so sad and beautiful at the same time. No show has ever moved me this much. And the music is perfect! It adds so much depth to these sad scenes. I could watch this over and over and still get choked up so many times.
