Thanks so much.. It was nice chapter ^_^ With Specters making Deathtoll choose between falling in the hole or guiding them to 12 Palaces, he leads them to Leo Palace!! Shame on you Deathtoll ~_~! The true Saint should sacrifice his life for the justice & Athina, he had to refuse help the enemies not choose his personal interests !!! He return again with his funny & feminine poses ... Just look at the last page ^_^! Next ch have a climax what ever that means: A climax ?!.. Hmmmm.... May at the next chapter Ikki will be able to reach to the Leo palace too. So, It will be all of these.. Suikyo, Shun, Tenma, Ikki, 2 Gold Saints, Specters in a same palace... So, May this what Masami mean it ?!? I can't wait for the next Chapter ^_^ |

Finally we see how Shjima is doing. Slumber party is over, time for a rumble~! Looks like it will become very exciting.  I would like to see everyone get involved in a brawl right here. I could also imagine happening, some of the Specters slip by a busy Kaiser so Tenma and Shun give chase... I want to see Goldie's ferocious side, and tear into some of the enemies...  Deathtoll, if the Specters are killed, he can be like yeah, he just lead them to their demise. If they should win, he can just roll with that too. |

I don't think at all that Deathtoll is trying to deceive the specters ..
We already knows his personal and his thinking. Let's go back to the ch 40, when he was talking with Suikyo. he said..
Deathtoll: The truth is I thought I should keep you alive to get to Hades’s army. I thought you could be useful, when the time came. But I understand now that this isn’t going to happen.You’ve never been a traitor to Athena, have you? You… are a real man, one who defends justice.
DT actually wanted to keep Suikyou alive so when DT does turn, he can get a good deal with the Hades army but he realizes that's not possible because Suikyou never actually betrayed Athena. He thinks everyone does something only for their own gain even Suikyou. DT finally decides to kill him but then Tenma dragging him inside the coffin.
In that time he was in a position of strength & wanted to betray Athina !!! So, how if he in a position of weak like now ?! ^^
Deathtoll is always chooses his personal interests ~_~!
I will not surprised if kaiser killed the spectre's, then DT say: I was just kidding with you Kaiser ^_^!

He's not expressly evil, he's quite neutral. He goes with what he thinks will get him through to a comfortable life. Deathtoll even said he'd let them pass, as he could benefit either by being rewarded by Hades, or his status as a Gold Saint.
He had to deceive the Specters regardless. It was either take them to the Cancer Temple, or be thrown into Hell. Plus, his Sekishiki Meikai Ha didn't work on Suikyou, so that leaves him bare handed to take down Specters at the edge of oblivion, when he doesn't know their powers. But, leading them to Leo Kaiser? There's a potential solution. If he doesn't have to personally fight, he'll side with whoever wins, I bet.
He only decided to kill Tenma and co because they all wouldn't let him be neutral, and wanted to fight him. We'll see what happens next chapter, though.

we can't call a Gold Saint who tried to betray Athina when he thought it will be to his personal interest neutral !!! ( Ch 40 )
He is a Gold Saint !!.. & He don't even care for ( Athina ) or ( justice ) !! He just thinking about his personal interests & his position !!
We saw Aioria, Mu & Milo fighting Rhadamantes & there attacks does not work against him, but they never thinking about their comfortable, they were prefer to die with a honor & fell down in the hole of the Hell.
The true Gold Saint should search for a comfortable life for Athina & the Human being, not try to find a comfortable life for himself only.
I don't care in the Anime if some one Good or Bad guy.. What I like it when the person has principles ,values, not moody or follow his personal interests.
Anyway, I don't want to talk about this topic so much, I just say my opinion as anyone here has the right to say his opinion & I respect all others opinions even if they were invert for my opinion ^_^
Just wait to the next ch, Who knows what will happen in that time ?! ^_^

It could be Gold Saint vs Gold Saint (1000 Day War) knowin kurumada sensei's love for cancer/pisces saints, i dont think any of the above can last a 2 minute war with any gold saints, let alone a 1000 day war... but i kinda like deathtoll a lot more than deathmask. this fool has personality! |
