Apparently yes since Athena Sasha & Tenma are gone...and Dohko started growing beard.

Definitely yes.
Dohko meets with his friend, who brings along his daughter Irin.
When she asks Dohko how long has he been keeping watch, he replies that maybe few dozens or few hundred years (it seems he loses track of time, watching that waterfall xP).
So... maybe the story takes place somewhere in the 20th century, and we will learn how handsome Dohko ended up as a wrinkled violet midget? :>

I don't think it's that close to the present time yet. He should at least shrink half way already if it's the 20 Cen. It's more like few decades after the war...

I thought so. But maybe... maybe he didn't just keep shrinking and more and more resembling a recoloured master Yoda? x)
Maybe there happened something that made him this way - does people normally look like this, even when very old?

Anyway, that's just my wild guess. I think it would be interesting to have one gaiden set this far in the future ^^

Well that would be interesting if Shiori does her own take on the missing element that would finally turn him into this:


I guess we'll have to see. I just hope it doesn't take too long for her to write one story from now on...

Interesting! I was actually hoping for Shiori to make some sort of remedy with Douko's shrinking. I can buy him shrinking a little bit but not as much as it portrayed and much less turning PURPLE. But the story rolls on!

Gotta love the facial hair, it needs more love in media.

I think I like it this way for Dohko's Gaiden ... Post Hades story , I hope they will do that to Shion Gaiden also ...


But, we'll see how the story goes ... Well, is there any information how many pages there are for this kind of monthly release ?

No details yet but pages can range from 25-45 for a monthly deal... Hoping for the larger end here...

Well, I hope that the chapters are longer if the gaiden get updated only once in a month. However, if the chapters are short, I do not mind as long as they are interesting.

Title: Enchanted Land

Summary: The story is set 12 years after the Holy War. Dohko's friend, Hao, takes his daughter, Iirin, to see the Libra Saint. Dohko comments she looks just like her mother. Her father has told her about Dohko. He is a warrior who have saved the world but Dohko tells her I'm just here to watch over things now. He explains his special heart condition: 1 Year/10,000 Beats. Hao is envious of Dohko because they are the same age but the Libra Saint don't age that much. Dohko asks him what's happening in the world. He tells him disasters and chaos. Suddeny they are attacked! They are fighters sent from Senkyou[Enchanted Land]! They are the Taonia[彫道士：Chou Dou Shi: Engraver Warriors]!! According to Dohko, the Taonia are the ones who watches everything in the land and protects the peace. They would not venture out of their realm on their own. Lead by Ryuushin, they attack Dohko again! With his heart not yet ready, Dohko gets hit! Iirin goes and protect the Saint! Just when they are about the get killed, the Libra Weapons comes and fends off the attacks!! Dohko finally with his skill defeats the attackers!! Dohko checks out Ryuushin's face and is shocked that he looks just like Tenma!! Meanwhile in Senkyou, they find out the failure of the mission to kill Dohko. Hakutaku, the leader there has decided he is the best to become the Emperor of the World! He can't let Dohko live. Dohko was once a pupil in Senkyou and trained there, but he chose the way of the Saint. He sents Fuui who was Dohko's companion to kill the Saint! The tattoo behind Fuui's back, Kyuubiko[9 Tail Fox] is burning to get Dohko!! Back in Five Old Peaks, Iirin asks who is this guy? Dohko says he could be Tenma who survived somehow. He should be 26,27 years old. Dohko decides to use him to lead him to Senkkyou because the gateway moves every year. And soo, a new battle begins!!
