I really liked the fight between souma and kouga.
They found a way to make it short and keep it interesting.

Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken FTW! -- anything that lets me nostalgia for the original is a big highlight.   

Yuna's fight was short, but was there really any doubt she'd lose a fight against a minor character?  I hope we get more concrete background on her.

I actually thought that while Kouga vs. Souma was paced well, since that fight was drawing out new techniques, that fight should have been longer.  But I imagine the producers/etc. want to get to the new arc (which is fine with me) and I guess if fights are too long, they feel too "filler."

Also, big LMAO here about the magical flying carriage.  It was even sparkly, I think.

[Taco o' Tragedy]

Whoa, I don't know what they did, but that Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken scene kinda gave me chills. Maybe because Geki saw shades of Seiya or something, maybe it was the admittedly epic "Pegasus Fantasy" remix score (although anything using PF as a base is bound to sound epic...) being used at the right time, but damn. That was kinda awesome.

A shame that we only got stills and not bonafide animation with the Seiya/Geki flashback. And I'm pretty sure the Galaxian Wars arena was never quite that illuminated. But holy crap v1 cloths. So this has to be within the anime's continuity. Geki's line about how he's sure Seiya is around fighting somewhere got me thinking: What the hell is he doing right now?

xD @ sparkling chariot of golden light. Also what's the deal with Kouga thinking whomever that chick he's meeting will really be Athena when he himself was witness to Saori being kidnapped by Mars? I also don't get why he hasn't approached anyone in Palestra (or at least Geki) to discuss what he saw that night. Did that weird-ass Martian hit him in the head too hard or something? :\

Good episode :3 I see the cut budget on episode 6 translated to better animation where it counted. I think the only "WTF" moment in this episode for me was the ... flying horse drawn buggy.... with sparkles....WHAT?! Where did that come from!? Since when does Sanctuary= descending from Mt. Olympus and using a girly version of Orion's chariot to travel to wherever they are? That was the only moment of me staring at the screen and wondering what made them decide to use this. (Well, that and when Yuna's transformation got the standard Magical Girl shiny lip gloss sparkle treatment ) I really enjoyed this episode though.

@Taco o' Tragedy: It seems obvious from our end. But to Kouga he doesn't really know Geki's relation to Athena. And the few people he's mentioned it too have pretty much written it off for him to bother talking to anyone else. Ryuho if anything I would have thought would bring it up since he realized that Kouga knew about Saori, and Ryuho is probably the only other next-gen saint to know her real identity. Of course, I don't remember if Kouga bothered to tell Ryuho that Saori was kidnapped at that time either. I think Kouga's view right now is that it's safer to keep the issue to himself for now.

Before this chapter I didn’t see the case for ep 6 until contrasted with ep 7. Now, I don’t see the case of “Hell Camp” chapter.  Other than, think of every chapter in the arc as a mere formal but very enjoyable introduction to each new concept.

Glad they opted to incorporate learning new techniques; I guess we won’t hear no more,  you can’t use same technique twice against a saint + elements, I’m thinking very mighty battles.

At one point I thought Seiya as Kouga’s father.  Now I’m inclining to think a repeat of Seiya’s drama, when they tried to make you think Marin was his lost sister.   Either way I think is great!

It was...kinda eerie when they did the overlay of Seiya over Kouga (when Geki is marveling at his strength and technique at the battle stadium).  I have it!  Kouga is TOTALLY Seiya's hidden younger brother!    (Kidding.)

WTF @ that carriage?!?! Yuna's cloth and henshin sequence is already so magical girlish, and now that carriage with white horse that can fly (where the hell did "Athena" got that kind of horse anyway?) and purple-pink sky? The one for Hades in LC is so much better than this one.

This week's episode once again managed to get a rating of 2.4% (the highest it has received so far), and the episode deserves every last bit of it.

Her ability kinda reminds me of Sextant Yuulij from Gigantomachia, and yea, just saying
