This is the ONE fight thats bugged me more than anything else in Saint Seiya.

You can find my thoughts here.

Personally in a fighting-game style match where both opponents are aware and prepared in position witha  countdown before the fight begin, no doubt Alde absolutely slaughters that bitch Niobe.

Even caught off guard, he still managed to land a fatal blow onto Niobe. He may have died, but in his last moments, he ended that cheap Specter. With Aldebaran aware from the start? It's his end.

Exactly what I don't get when people reference this fight as to way Aldebran is the wussy Gold Siant. Niobe still got slaughtered! I would hardly use this fight was reason why Tauros is a weakling.

Deep Niobe killed with a fragrence that weakened their foe before killing them. Even greatly weakened, and near death, Taurus Aldebaran killed him with his attack, even if Niobe didn't realize it.

I just wish Aldebaran got more exposure in the original series.  But, alas, he wasn't pretty.  Just rugged.  And you know what that means if you're not pretty in Saint Seiya...
