He's the Corona Borealis Saint. If I'm not mistaken, Souma mentions it during the hospital scene.
He is the Corona Borealis. He's not too hard to miss in the uniform scenes due to that hair Edit: Sorry, meant to copy and paste the name and accidentally posted it without it. The sub i watching (burning cosmo) gave him the name Northern Crown, after googling it i found that it's another name for Corona Borealis. Episode 10 Kouga escaped prision with the help of Haruto and joined up with Yuna’s group; they travel to the Sanctuary to look for Athena. However, they discover that the Gold Saints of the 12 Houses have been mercilessly slaughtered and that a huge building called the Tower of Babel has been erected among the ruins of these temples.
He's the Corona Borealis Saint. If I'm not mistaken, Souma mentions it during the hospital scene.
Don't really believe that since there's only 2 Gold Saints around, and one of them is Ionia which is supposed to be evil.

Well there is one possible way for the Gold Saints to be slaughtered and that's if the Elements and changing Cloths first occurred and the Gold Saints didn't understand the concept well enough to make themselves effective with it. They would be like "what the f*** happened to our Cloths and Cosmos?" So while at their weakest, the enemy took advantage and got rid of the strongest before they could reach their potential.
It would be like how Rhadamanthys killed Milo, Mu and Aioria by himself with no effort due to the castle reducing their strength to ten percent thus making Athena realize how important re-educating all the others about elements before another tragedy occurred.

Gold Saints of the 12 Houses have been mercilessly slaughtered It would be better if they say 12 gold saints sacrificed themselves in the last holy war so no one's protecting the 12 palaces. I would be pissed if they show 12 gold saint got beaten by martians.

Once again, probably only one Gold Saint got killed and at most 2 (And that would be if no one knew that Ionia is the Capricorn Saint, which after Pope Gemini Saga is not that hard to believe...) because there are only 2 Gold Saints. Either that, or there will be a big plot-hole 10 episodes in.

The more i see this Omega , the more i don't like it. The only thing that keep me watching is the appearances of the familiar faces. The plot are weak, the important of cloth and cosmos which are saint seiya distinctiveness is gone and what we have now it this ridiculous elements fighting style. It's just like Naruto wearing cloth but it not even half that good !!!
However it so bad may be, it does rise the awareness of saint seiya once more but i have to admit , it really painful to watch it from the die-hard fan like myself.

I think it is an alright series, but it has the potential to be better. I think the show is at its best when it gives nods to the old moments and concepts and either relates it to the present. Not just flashbacks, but like aspects with the mask, the thousands year glacier or Ryuho settling the old defeat of his Father.
The new characters are pretty good. Sometimes the writing is off (Kouga asking Yuna why she wears a mask? Why would he do that when Shaina wore one too?) but everyone is likable. The old Saints especially. I never cared about Geki or Ichi in the original, but I like them here. Yuna's Cloth looks stupid, but hey, I'm the one who has an icon of a character who made his anime debut wearing metal boobies.
The graphics are cheap, but with the exception of the missing wings on Seiya from the first episode, aren't all that noticeable and they do at least fit an action scene in each episode. I do like the backgrounds of Palestra though with the Greek statues, the Planetarium and they at least had the Coliseum.
The Elements is the only aspect that I don't like. Even though the cosmos was vague in how it works in the show with it being able to do everything from make giant explosions to making Buddha appear to mess with your mind, it was defined enough to at least allow your imagination to figure things out. It was alot like the Force from Star Wars.
But the elements are explained over and over with a chart no less. The problem with this is that if there is a flaw in the system, the viewer will question it sending them in disbelief.
One good example is Earth. According to the Element chart, it is weaker than Lightning and stronger than water. However, breaking rocks is essentially the most basic cosmos lesson in the series. In the first episode, we clearly see Shaina breaking a rock with ease in her hands using basic cosmos, and Kouga plowing a boulder size hole through the rock behind him with just cosmos before he learned the whole element thing in the second episode. With these things in mind, it really makes those who control Earth the weakest of the Element chart just because anyone who knows any level of cosmos should defeat it with ease. As a Saint Seiya fan, I try to suspend my disbelief, but it is tough when out of the six episodes shown, three of them feature a segment where the characters stop what they are doing to show a chart and explain in detail how Elements work with one having a long segment of students of different elements demonstrating how each one is weak against the other.
But aside from that, I do like watching the show even with the flaws and its definitely worth a shot.

Hey man, just because they use elements, have a guy named Haruto that comes from a family of Ninjas, doesn't mean they stole from Naruto. :p
