-Power inconsistency. Badly. The gods that were breaking even with the legendary saints, now beaten by this way less powerfull bronze saints? Unless we say that new bronze saint grow in power way faster than legendary saints just because they are genius or something.
-New Bronze saints grow in power at super high rate, which ok, Let's say we accept that. On the new season they are not instantly destroying "level 3 palasians" or something. Even worse Ryohu can't revert the cascade, something that was achieved by Shyrou when he was lame weak bronze saint, now he is Gold power level and can't achieve it? No matter what "doubts" he has he should do it with snaping his fingers at this point.
Same with Soma, He already is above golden saint power level and have trouble with this "level 3" palasian? Makes no sense unless level 3 means they are as strong as golden saints or something.
Same with ryhou, he should like snap his fingers and kill the palasian level 3, yet he struggled.
-The same problem is on all saint seiya franchise, but yet more of the "idiot ball, what's strategy" thing. like now why send level 3 palasian vs saints that they know defeated a god? Just dumb.
-I can't point it now, but i really fear that now legendary saints are free of the darkness and they will somehow do nothing.
Ummm for the legendary vs. wagaki bronz saints aginst the four heavenly kings or whatever. I think it was quite obvious, the legendary struggles and Athena's help (light stick thing) ended the fight. Now the new bronze saints had the four kings with half of thier power if it was for the legendary saints they would finish them in a snap but not the new bronze (Kouga Co.).
For the struggle aginst level 3 parasites I think its common in saint seiya. Seiya Co. couldn't defeat Seido of the Asgard hen even though it was after the battle of the 12 houses. Leaving that aside, the new bronz couldn't defeat those level three was because,
It was sudden, the whole saints of season one of omega were way too weak than the classic (the pandora boxes are considered power ups), and finally the level 3 parasites are at the level of bronze saints in the classic saint seiya. Toei knew their mistake and worked hard to correct it in season 2. As if they were telling us pleas forget the crap about the dark meteor.
As for Ryuho reversing the river flow, that was the essence of the Rozan Sho Ryuha. Shiryu was ordered to master it in order tobe worthy of the dragon cloth. Ryuho should master that technique before returning to palaestra and maybe thats why his Sho Ryuha in season 1 was so weak aginst the gold saints and later Apuz. Not to mention that Omega's gold saints of season 1 weren't actually true gold saints. At least not the same power level of Mu and the others.
Finally for the legendary saints doing nothing in season 2.. Remember the staff did mentioned they will have more action in season two but now that Shiryu is left behind at the five old peaks, maybe we won't see the legendary saints the way we were expecting.
This is exactly my feelings, I really didn't like the idea that Ryuhou should reverse the waterfall, I mean Shiryu did it even before officially becoming a Saint during his training. I also didn't like the fact that The Bronze Saints took their time to reach Ryuhou fighting Pallas' foot soldiers, c'mon for God's sake they were fighting Gold Saints even before the new cloth... Also Hate the idea Pallasites with weapons, we are not on some Street Fight level! Ryuhou getting injured by that weapon easily, I mean the Saints are supposed to go through Hellish training, why would such attacks hurt them (forget about the cosmo). In season 1, Kouga did fall like a shooting star by Shaina's attack without any cloth yet he wasn't hurt that much (that was beginning of episode 1 in the first season).
As I've stated above, he has to revers the water flow to master the Rozan Sho Ryuha. Probably Shiryu (losing his senses) couldn't delever this message to ryuho while training. The bronze saints must take thier time so we can see Ryuho finishing the matter alone, Shiryu did nothing either plus, the parasite foot soldiers probably were so many like the Martians Kiki and Harbinger struggled against not to mention the distance to reach Ryuho's place and probably the bronze took no time dealing with the foot soldiers and that time was enough for Ryuho to defeat his enemy after upgrading his cloth.
This new season is doing its best to match our expectations so lets give it a chance.
