How the hell does Chalcedony know about Dégel's good looks? Isn't he supposed to be blind? I guess Dégel's sexiness is something that gets under your skin… Cool

I wonder why Garnet is obsessed with longevity. Is she also 500 years old like Krest is?  Huh?

But also how Krest remained young for 500 years? Don't tell me Garnet made him that way? Didn't she?

I hope the gaiden answers these questions ASAP.

It's more about eternal youth, I think. Maybe she's just a vain woman Wink

Krest didn't. He was made look young by Garnet (as I understood).

Maybe Chalcedony can see the way Asmita does.  Either way, I agree with Xupz about Degel's sexiness.

Krest was given a new body by Garnet.  His ancient body in previous frames was, well, decrepit, and in this past chapter when he tells his story, there is a frame showing his 'rebirth' at the hands of Garnet.  Garnet likely has a fear of death and simply doesn't want to die, rather than live forever--she enjoys manipulating people too much and never wants to grow old/ugly.  That is my opinion, though.

Yep, think so too. But in any case she's definitely wicked. A real case of creepy baddie with insane goal. That speech about entrancing her people and leading them forever… that's just crazy  ROFL Smiley 3 I like raving, megalomaniac enemies. That panel where she sucks the life-force of her Jewel is quite awesome.
