That guy is a legend. I knew that he sang the songs for DBZ, but I just found out he also sang 'Soldier Dream' for Saint Seiya!

I never heard of him. If he sang those songs, then it means he's a good singer for anime soundtrack.

I'm reviving this dead topic because this guy is a legend in anime music.

Let's see... Kageyama's sung OP and ED themes to Dragon Ball Z, Saint Seiya, Transformers Headmasters, Super Robot Taisen, Yu-Gi-Oh GX, Japanese versions of Beast Wars, several Super Sentai series, etc. He's still going strong after 20+ years - his latest song is from Dai-2-ji Super Robot Taisen OG, a PS3 game from 2012 (though he actually sang it as part of JAM Project with other anime/tokusatsu singers, like Masaaki Endoh, Hiroshi Kitadani, Masami Okui and Yoshiki Fukuyama.).

I actually prefer the instrumental versions of Super Robot Taisen themes (since whoever arranged the instrumentals made them FULL ORCHESTRA versions, and they sound awesome). That said, Hironobu Kageyama is at his best in Transformers themes - his "Sennen no Soldier" from Transformers: Beast Wars Metals is amazing, same with "HALLELUYAH" (he sings this with Mitsuko Horie).
