The Aurora Execution destroys the gem (that Garnet wears around her neck?). Garnet suddenly changes and becomes an old woman; later, she and Krest die. Degel acquires a pair of glasses.

So Degel's gaiden ends at this chapter. It seems sudden but at the same the chapter ends in a proper resolution. I like how Degel is surrounded by (a harem of) three girls.  |

I like how Degel is surrounded by (a harem of) three girls. He is gorgeous, after all.  I wish the Gaiden had gone a little more in depth as to Dègel's history rather than a side mission, but I'm pleased with the results taken as a whole. The ending was rather romantic--who wouldn't like to be saved by a knight in literally-shining-armor? At any rate, it managed to tie in Kardia at the end as well. |
