Wow Degel has an interesting gaiden. I wonder how it will turn out. :)

I was going to post that earlier but didn't want to step on any toes.

Thanks Mu!  I like the concept of this particular Gaiden.  It's odd to see Degel smiling though--he always seems so, well, serious.  It'd be like seeing Camus smile.

It'd be like seeing Camus smile.
Didn't Degel smile before though? At Kardia, Unity and Seraphina.

And Camus smiles in Kurumada's manga! And in Episode G too, when talking to Milo! The anime made him way too grumpy u.u

Degel is looking good, too bad we won't get a script because these scans are in Chinese =(

Fair enough.  :)  I have read very little of the classic manga myself--most of my Saint Seiya experience has been with the anime.  (I have read the Lost Canvas manga, though.)

A few sites have spoiler script both in French (Archange) and Spanish (SSIcePlanet), and SSIcePlanet has a rather detailed summary in Spanish.  If it's alright, I can post it and translate it (though I'm sure there are plenty of others here proficient in Spanish that could do a much better job than me!).  I would imagine, though, that the SSFF people are hard at work on scans/translations already.

I'll post up the English Translated Script as usual as soon as they're been released. ;)

Shit! I still have to scan the RAW since they're looking for Original Japanese ones. Give those on the other forum a day or 2 to translate it.

Unless AriesMu188 can help to do the translation based on the Chinese Scanlation? ;)

I'm really liking this chapter so far :)

So i'm guessing Degel is undercover to find that musical woman.

@Celyddon Thanks for the offer! I saw the summary too, but I'm hoping we get a script. I'm so curious!

@Haldir Any of those options would be of great help! And I know that scanning is a tiresome task so I want to thank you for all the times you've done it.

Now that I've read the Chinese scans myself, I wanna see more of the gaiden especially the interaction between Degel, singing woman and the maid.

Hm, Archange from SSPedia posted a script, but in French only. Translating in Google Trad...:
Gaiden 19 - Dégel 01 - The Wizard of ice.

P01
Fluorite (narration): It's a history dating back to when I was still a girl.
Fluorite (narration): I worked in a mansion on the edge of water, whose crest was the Wyvern.

18th century France.

Fluorite (narration): My name is Fluorite.
Maid-in-Chief: Fluorite! You still have brought food to half baked!
Maid-in-Chief: The next time you will not be excused!
Fluorite (narration): At that time I was rather clumsy and not very conscientious, and so I spent my time being scolded.
Fluorite: Ahhh.

P02-03
Fluorite (narration): But today is a day I was waiting with excitement! I'm not going to be discouraged!
Fluorite (narration): It's the birthday of Dame Garnet, the mistress of the manor!
Fluorite (narration): Plenty of beautiful and elegant nobles gathered here!
Fluorite (narration): Here, for example ...
Dégel: Pardon.
Fluorite (narration): This person ...

P04
Fluorite (narration): It was suffused with an unreal atmosphere.
Fluorite (narration): Obviously, it was particularly beautiful, but also when I brushed ...
Fluorite (narration): I for a moment felt a fresh breeze danced around him.
Fluorite (narration): As if the effluent of an early winter had broken into the reception.

P05
Fluorite (Ah. .. and damn, it comes with ...?)
Fluorite (narration): The person this was ...
Fluorite (narration): The Lady Seraphina, daughter of the overlord of Blue Graad, the land of eternal ice located in the far north.
Fluorite (narration): This beautiful woman with silver hair like frost and ice-blue eyes ...
Fluorite (narration): ... was admirable efforts, came to mingle with high society to which she was not used for the interests of his modest means homeland.
Fluorite: (I see, if all is normal it generates this kind of aura. But the lady Seraphina is more beautiful than I thought.)
Fluorite: Uaah!

P06
Fluorite (Et and thin ... ..)
Fluorite (narration): A terrible blunder ...

P07
Jet: Hey ho good. We do drink alcohol to guests' clothes here?
Fluorite: I apologize! I will immediately dry your clothes!
Fluorite (narration): This man is uncouth Jet, the stupid son of a marquis living near the border.
Fluorite: Kyaah!
Fluorite: Have ...
Fluorite: (Broken glass me ...)

P08
Jet: Do not worry about my clothes. Hurry up instead of cleaning the floor of amber ...
Guests: Poor maid, she will be killed.
Guest: It's how many people since the beginning of the month? For him, those of lower status to his are not human beings.
Guest: What is more, he is currently fascinated by the hunt and probably want to see blood.
Jet: With your blood!
Fluorite (narration): I ... I'm really in danger!

P09
Dégel: Koltso.
Jet: Gah?
Fluorite (narration): I wonder how many people there have noticed that.

P10
Fluorite (narration): Ice crystals like a wave is born to the index of this person.
Fluorite (narration): And Jet was completely paralyzed. This great man was ...
Fluorite (narration): Like a magician manipulating the snow and ice.

P11
Dégel: My god, it's terrible!
Dégel: It looks like it has a little too much.
Dégel: Would there be someone to take him somewhere else?
Dégel: And make sure it is sleeping peacefully.
Fluorite (narration): What an incredible ease!
Fluorite (narration): And then he arranged everything peacefully, a single smile.
Dégel: How's your arm?
Fluorite: Ha? Be resistant is my unique quality!
Fluorite: Uh ... would you tell me your name?

P12
Dégel: How rude of me.
Dégel: My name is Dégel.
Dégel: And I come from Greece.
Fluorite (narration): Thaw, "melting snow" ... I thought it was an appropriate name.
Fluorite: Greece ... I assumed that you had arrived from Blue Graad in the company of the lady Seraphina ...
Dégel: It is I who asked him the favor of me.
Dégel: But I may have imposed an inconvenience.
Fluorite ...
Fluorite: What do you mean?

P13
Dégel: Yes.
Dégel: In fact, I see the beauty of Garnet, Lady of the manor.
Dégel: His reputation has reached neighboring countries.
Dégel: Could you tell me about this person?
Fluorite (narration): Ah ... what an incredible disappointment. I thought it was also that kind of man.
Fluorite (narration): But what I could do.
Fluorite: Yes, this person is really beautiful! Certainly more than you can imagine.
Dégel: Mmm ... !
Fluorite: Her eyes and lips are like precious stones subjugating people.
Fluorite: Her beauty is such that no one dares to attack this country, it is sufficient to protect us from external enemies or invaders.

P14
Fluorite: In other words, his beautiful body allows him to lead his people as well as his enemies!
Dégel: Music?
Fluorite: The perfect timing!
Dégel: She also such a talented ...
Fluorite: Yes! In fact, this is probably its biggest attraction ...
Fluorite: My mistress is about to appear before you.
Dégel:!
Fluorite: Be all ears!
Fluorite: And let yourself be absorbed in this music.

P15
Fluorite: A powerful spell that invites you all to another world.
Fluorite: Anyone listening to eventually fall in love with her.

P16-17
Fluorite: All thanks to the wonderful voice of the lady Garnet.

P18
-

P19
Guests: O Lady Garnet.
Guests: This song probably comes from paradise.
Fluorite: E-is it that you are well, Mr. Thaw!
Dégel: Indeed, it exceeds what I imagined ...
Fluorite (narration): But then I do not doubt that ...

P20
Garnet: Oh.
Garnet: So somebody who has not knelt on hearing my song ...
Fluorite (narration): It was the curtain raiser of a tragedy as chilling.
Fluorite (narration): I worked in a mansion on the edge of water, whose crest was the Wyvern.

Why does that remind me of Rhadamanthys? :D

Then again by the time this Gaiden occurs, Rhadamanthy is probably already a Specter.

That's not a correct translation.

The crest was the Vouivre not the Wyvern, a mythical dragon like creature with two Rubies on its eyes. The creature can also be seen in the background in the scan where Garnet is singing with her arms wide open.
