Maybe she followed what Kurumada did but then again, one Chapter of the Classic Series is many times longer than LC or ND.


I was hopping for him soul to go into Alone again and maybe Alone allow himself to be killed. Then again, that won't be a happy ending.

I agree with Kuri. If she is going to filler the thing I rather it end. Maybe is Masami didn't allow her to show some stuff and saved it for ND. As predicted before, ND gets the last word... Or the publisher don't want it to compete with Ep. G...

Before the filler I would give LC a 9 or 10 out of 10 score but now, more like 6, 7. Still like it though...

I really have fun reading everyone's comments on this thread. One week it's "wtf fillers nothing happens the story is dragging on DAMN SHIORI" and the next "wtf everything happens so fast why is this happening it should be longer DAMN SHIORI"

As far as I'm concerned, I think Teshirogi-sensei is particularly skilled at finding a good balance for storytelling. There's always something happening and nothing is longer than it should be. There's actually a lot of continuity with the original series as far as swift storytelling is concerned, when you compare it with most of our current shōnen/shōjo manga dragging on for voooooooluuuuumes.
Well, I know from reading StS fans that not many people share my point of view, though.

Xups : the problem here is you posted a quote from a TV series as argument. IT's just a line in a text said by an actor and written by a scriptwriter ^^;

But here things are different : Development of introducing Alone's fight with Tenma and Sasha, with a Dohko and a Shion being cute flower pots was far too long, and the end is far too short.
I suspect some orders from her editors to make it short.

So am I. It’s clear that she had to close her story quicker than she wanted. It’s easy to see when you compare to the rest of the story where she always made a good job.

Ridiculous, no more to say. They accelerated the ending.

The TLC staff and Shiori made a bad end for the manga. Tokusa, the unknown spectre and another things are forgot.
I´m disappointed.

You can't fully blame Shiori and her staff. It's business politics. As said by others on the forum, she was pressed to finish it. Otherwise, she would extend the story. Besides, LC needs to end on a transition note so it's not a sudden end as it seems.

Again, I'd rather it end now then drag on another 20 chapters. While it would have been nice to have some closure for Tokusa, in the end, he's not that important.
