first anime must have been dragonball Z or Saint Seiya. They aired on Club Dorothée then
But the anime that got me hooked on anime was teknoman (aka Tekkaman Blade)

Dubbed sailor moon ( in chinese) would be the very first anime i saw... but i didn't know it was called anime back then
the first anime that i watched KNOWING that it was anime was naruto - when it first came out. ( This was before all the fillers, so it was still considered good :O)

my first anime was hokuto no ken,that was 12 years ago,in the same period came saint seiya and ronin warriors,from that point on I fell in love with anime

My first Anime series was G-Force. The original name for this series is Gatchaman. I used to watch that series all the time when I was younger. I even watched the Eagle Riders series. Then later on I found the Gatchaman OAV and started to collect the VHS tapes for that. I don't have any of the tapes anymore. Had to sell them. T_T I have seen some of the series on DVD once. Maybe one day I hope to collect the whole series and watch it again. ^_^

My first anime had to be Gundam and Saint Seiya, and I am forever thankful to my brother for having introduced two such wonderful animes into my life. Also up there is Dragon Ball - the adventures of young Goku before he went spastic in the head with all that power.

But Gundam, Saint Seiya and Dragon Ball form the golden triangle of my blissful youth.

my first anime was that old Heidi show, I used to watch it with my mom!

The first one i really liked was Saint Seiya, I watched it with my friends dubbed it French when I was a kid! We didn't understand a thing they were saying, but we (especially me) loved it! It was on every wednesday during Club Dorothé, maybee some of the french members still remebers this!

my first anime i really really got my self into the whole anime bang was zoids...........i still watch zoids to this day, the CC seiries i love it. it reminds me of communism and stuff like that my fave charater was raven...i hated van........my fav zoids where, genobreaker, and liger zero snider, the blade liger, BFSE berserk fury shadow edge lzctk liger zero caesar the king, and the kong wolf...........there is way more but i dont want to say them all.........

Well the first Anime I recall seeing was either Speed Racer or Gatchaman (via the much edited Battle of the Planets), but the first anime I actually watched was Robotech.  If the purists throw a fit over that, then it would be Sailor Moon, followed by Dragonball Z.

I not saying this just because this is a SS community, but my first Anime was Saint Seiya, and has been the only Anime I have been deeply interested in, I haven't watched many other, other parts, most didn't grab my attention and some I like to watch every now and again.

But you know, that when you regularly put SS on so you can sleep, thats when you know you love the series I used to spend evenings during my childhood, when i was 7-8 shouting and screaming "Me de sua forca pegasus" which means, Give me your strength pegasus, and punch walls and floors etc because I wanted to burn my cosmo LOL

Mum: Son what are you doing?

Son: I am punching this wall and trying to burn my cosmo

Mum: Ok... but don't hurt yourself son

Son: Ok mum.... *punch punch punch* LOL

Ok, not all the time, but usually when SS was on I really thought I was invincible like Seiya

i believe the first anime i ever saw was rounin warriors ( it was like sumarai power rangers lol) i only catch parts of that show

but the first anime i actually completed watching was Kimagure Orange Road, those were the good old days, sneaking to the TV at 1am at night to catch every eps.

First anime i bought was Evagelion and i got hooked to animes ever since

I don;t know if I put it. But my 1st was Fist of the North Star. I really like that anime.

My first anime as I remember it was Dragonball only because my sister and I hanged out with guys in an apartment below ours.  They only watched dragonball though I never saw the entire thing.  Then came Sailor Moon that was dubbed in English on tv.  Then came all the anime (which was alot) that my sister began burning on her DVD as I was her tester to make sure all the episodes were playing good.
