I think my first anime, or the first one I remembered, was the US Dub of Tekkaman Blade, called Teknoman.

I don't really remember, but I'm pretty sure Saint Seiya was one of the first animes I've ever watched. So far it's one of the best, too. I can rewatch it now & still like it (compared to some other animes which back then I thought was pretty good but now isn't my taste anymore).
I knew DB & DBz but read them in manga & have never seen the anime until recently (& I definitely think the manga is much better than the anime).

Finnish-dubbed one: Starzinger about 11 years ago. (But one that I REMEMBER is Pokémon about 8 years ago.)

English-dubbed: Dragon Ball, in Finland about 6 years ago (via a satellite channel).

Japanese: Saint Seiya, last year.

Probably "Mitsubachi Maaya no Boken" because it was on TV as bedtime TV cartoon when I was the child xD or maybe "Tanoshii Moomin Ikka" was there earileir, I don't remamber xD (thanks animenwesnetwork.com I know japanese titles xD).
First anime where main characters were humans: Yatterman!

Saint Seiya Golden Apple movie .
I was 5-6 at the time, so it took me about 2 years after I began watching the series.
Everything in French, btw.
First English anime was Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai X in the dub-version, when I was 10, closely followed by Teknoman (Tekkeman Blade).
At the age of 14 I watched my first anime in Japanese (after I had already watched it in English): Visions of Escaflowne. Afterwards, the only dubbed anime I watched was Dragon Ball Z/GT.
And about a year ago I started watching Saint Seiya in Japanese .

I can't remember straight, but my first anime was either the USA versions of Dragonball Z or Sailor Moon.  I'm also thinking that Pokemon would be in there somewhere because I watched all of them at about the same age, when I was 7 or 8.  The first anime I ever watched in Japanese was Saint Seiya Hades Chapter.  I haven't really watched anything else in another language except for a snippet of Saint Seiya I watched in French.

First anime was either the english dub of Sailor Moon or english dubbed Cardcaptor Sakura.   I watched Digimon when it came out over here too, but I'm pretty sure it was after the first two.
