well after reading some of the works here i decide i would try writing poetry in english. im used to writing it in spanish so im sure my work wont be as good as the rest here but it doesn't hurt to try

Fading Away

Howling to my moon,
breathing fire in my realm,
treated like a god in my jungle,
but still I ponder why your gone.

Traveling with my pack,
flying through the mountains tops,
ordering Aztecs to kill,
but still I ponder why your not here.

I have searched trough out the world
Hoping to find a single trace of you.
I have lost my fangs, my scales, my spots,
In simple terms, I have lost it all.

But still I ponder why,
why my jungle and my people are gone,
why my realm rests in fire,
and why my moon has faded along with my heart.

hmm, I like.  Are you from Mexico, by any chance? 

I do like the imagery, and you did very well, especially considering that English is not your native language.  The only thing I want to add is that you may want someone to proofread for you, but otherwise it is a lovely poem.
