Both are great. I do like the style of classic Seiya, and like the close bonding of the main bronze in Saint Seiya as they go through a lot of troubles together over many episodes... but Lost Canvas is beautiful too, especially Pisces... XD Its great to see the Gold Saints get some action and more importance.

What I've seen of LC doesn't excite me. Also, I'm just a big "retro" anime fan. Although, for anime, my definition of retro also includes the 90's, that's because their American contemporaries make me feel old. This. Except that I would add 80's animes too. ^^

both...but Lost Canvas has got me a little bit more, just because there are no fillers like in the original series But the original serie's filler is as deep touching (or more, not considering Hades) as every other chapter in it.

I was thinking who the hell Morgana was, so searched on Google and saw she was Gisty. xD I couldn't agree more with you on this, and would add Steel Saints part too, but still can't feel LC into SS universe. =/

I prefer Lost Canvas, although I love SS original too ... Maybe I'm not good in expresing things, but this is what I thought ... With Lost Canvas, I see the more-touching-and-complex dramatization and, of course, the-more-intense-and-dynamic battle scene ... Reading LC makes me feel reading a real complete story ... But in the original SS, I feel the journey-feeling of the story is better (especially from one castle to the others) but lack of deepness the story needed, and I admit that the sensei's cloth designs are still better than that of Shiori ... Reading SS makes me feel reading a great raw concept of a story ... Maybe what I want to say is Kurumada is better in generalizing the main idea of the story, but Shiori is better in organizing, detailing and giving it a nice touch ... The sinergy of both in working on The Zeus Chapter (will it be ??? ) will be devastating ...

Since Next Dimension showed itself as an intro do Zeus Chapter (or Olypus Arc) it'll be not and possibility.

Nicely said. And in the LC story not everyone is always saying this one is the strongest, oh no wait this one is the strongest. This is the most powerful Gold Saints, oh no wait, this one is the most powerful Gold Saint And why does no one like the armour designs? For example the fight between Kardia and Rada (the one I'm in at the moment, re-reading the whole storyline) - they are drawn so beautiful and the armours have so many details so I can't believe what is said (however, yes, in the anime the armours aren't done so nicely) Yeah, buuh for the Steel Saints - no one ever needed them

I like LC armours designs, mostly in anime - thanks to wonderful coloring and stunning animation. I mean, gold really looks magically golden there. Just by the way.
As for the choice, I prefer both classic and LC. I have more against ND than I have to LC at this point, but for 1: that may change, for 2: I don't like the idea of Olympus/Zeus Chapter, so...

I like the designs of LC fine, I just have a preference for Kuru's designs. He also has done the golden shine in a few interesting ways: Different styles of color, but I like both (nice and detailed, though the Sagittarius one is clearly nicer due to being an individual art piece, over a manga page). And what's wrong with doing a Zeus/Olympus chapter? It's only a natural extension of the prior events. Athena's Civil War of Saints wasn't an issue to the gods...but sealing away Poseidon once again, killing Hades, and causing severe damage to both of their domains, followed by getting into Artemis' face, and altering time with the help of Chronus? Yeah, I bet the gods are going to be a bit on the annoyed side (well, at least a few. We'll have to see where the Olympians lean when it comes up).
