Hmmm~ I see~ Well then, i might as well start reading then~

And with that poster, for a moment i thought that was seiya until i saw the...strnage things that are appart of ikki's cloth

...what exactyly are they? Like ninja stars or something? o.o

They are feathers but he did use it like Ninja Stars... ;)

And for summary of both eras of the story go here:

Wait a sec. So Shun and Ikki are in the past, while Hyoga is in the present protecting Seiya. ...Where's Shiryu in all of this? o_O Did ND ever even show him?

Toei huh... as long as they didn't chop down and making their own story like they did in classic I am fine with it!
But it's bound to happen with so little chapter of ND that out... But I wonder what kind of filler they could put in ND? I think it's inevitable, but they could add something as in Saori not right away think of doing time-travel.

ps: Some image of Izo reminded me of Uchiha Itachi~

Shiryu has yet to show up sadly. And there's no clue when the next chapter will come out. :/

Actually, Hyoga left Sanctuary to go join Athena and his fellow Bronze Saints after protecting Seiya from the Angel Touma. Aquila Marin and Ophiuchus Shaina are the only Saints we know that are left protecting Seiya from being murdered by an Angel and Artemis with her amazonian Archers from Mount Olympus.

But yeah, no Shiryu yet in ND, unless you count the prologue of the manga being set during the fight with Hades. Seiya's comatose body first showed up in...chapter 11? 12? Shun first showed up in Chapter 14, Ikki in Chapter 18, and Hyoga just appeared in Chapter 31 (with us being at Chapter 35)

So yeah, Shiryu's going to show up soon enough. And by soon enough, I mean 2012-2013.

Yeah! Poor Shiryu! Though it's not THAT hard to guess where is he now... I bet he is in Rozan with Shunrei...:shiryu:or watching waterfall like Dohko did.

It's funny Hyoga shows up 31 chapters later when ND started. He was supposed to show up at the beginning with Seiya, Shun, Ikki and Shiryu. Odds are either Shiryu will show up by the 40th chapter or.... at the 50th. X__X

That could be a possibility. It happened in the previous sagas.

Hm. If Shiryu's watching the waterfall, he most probably can't move from his spot. :\ Or, if he's still blind, he might be training his inner eye to be of better help to his comrades.

Is watching the waterfall serve any purpose now since the holy war on 20th century ended up to put an end to Hades' ambition?

Shiryu is off in Kurumada's famous 'OH CRAP I FORGOT ABOUT THAT CHARACTER!' land.

On a serious note, I have no clue, never had time to read ND. Can't wait to see this anime!

I'd be very happy to see it as an anime too. ^^

Now that Hyoga left, maybe Marin and Shaina will get a chance to really shine in a fight against a more powerful opponent...
