So it basically says that at Toei Animation Meeting Brasil 2010 a Toei Animation "director" has confirmed that
1) Toei wants and will produce more Saint Seiya
2) It will be Next Dimension
3) It should be in the form of movie (not clear if they mean 45 min, 90 min or what) debuting next year to celebrate StS's 25th anniversary

Obviously take it with a pinch of salt as it's a bit strange of such a news to surface, but there we have it :)

Yeah, because, currently you can produce roughtly 15 episodes.
We're recruiting a TRANSLATOR.
We're in need of a proof-reader too.

...Toei? As in, the people who countlessly botched the original anime with terrible filler, bad cloth redesigns, replaced canon with filler (ala Crystal Saint, all Bronzes being half brothers, with Ikki and Shun being full brothers, Steel Saints, etc), art quality drop, and large amounts of violent censors, the ones who messed up his original Tenkai-Hen, the ones who Kurumada left after one of the Hades series?

...please tell me this is a joke <_< Toei needs to be far away from Saint Seiya.

And I want a very accurate (down to the last detail and color if possible) adaptation that doesn't sway from the original. If they're doing a movie, then it should be possible to not add any filler, and follow it within an 60-120 minute frame (more than 60, but you never know).

If it's a movie, it's better to do another plot line, otherwise it's another overture again holding back too much and at the same time not showing anything interesting...

I don't see any problems for the story to be adapted into films. This worked splendid with Break Blade :)

But i don't want Toei  to do it ;_;

The guys at Olympus 12 Gods blog wrote:
"Canada:
"Why there are Hades and Galaxy Myths? I just care about the present and real story!"
The Galaxy Myth it's the main part of the story, and those two Myths are real and original parallel stories of Seiya written by Mr. Kurumada."

So, ND just got di-canoned? ;)

No, he/she means that the ND Galaxy Myth and Hades myth are parallel stories. Not a parallel story TO Saint Seiya.

They said Parallel stories, meaning they go side by side. Now, if they were perpendicular stories... ;)

But yeah, there are two stories going on. A past holy war, and a time travel/rescue Seiya story that will likely lead to running up a lot more stairs in the form of Olympus.

err, I wondered why they choose to animate the ND than Ep G ? Is it because ND has the 5 bronzes too so still connected to SS ?

I don't know the fans response of Ep G.. is it not quite good so don't get animated ?

(but I hope if ND get animated will be the same drawing style like SS not LC..) -- just my opinion, though ^^

Probably because it's the canon sequel to the original series, and done by Kurumada? And I doubt EG was as popular as either ND or LC.

I hope, if animated, it will be closer to the manga's detail and art style than the original anime. Of course, I also hope a millionaire with money to blow has had this same thought, lol.

It could be good animated, but I do have some desires for it:

Stick to the plot as close as possible (the only filling should be the animations of them moving/attacking/etc, don't add extra crap that's not needed)
Stick with the colors Kurumada has chosen (Shun and Athena have brown hair, the Phoenix Cloth is orange, God Cloths are Gold, Silver Cloths are Silver, etc)
Don't let a random pop band that happens to be popular do the music (I'm looking at what you did with Kai, Toei...)
In fact, let Hironobu Kageyama do the opening and ending, ala Soldier Dream and Blue Dream
If possible, bring back the classic voices where possible (Maybe even give both Seiya voices a shot, let Yamucha stick with Seiya, and move Ichigo to Tenma. Let me keep Vegeta as Shun, and Captain Ginyu as Ikki *DBZ Ginyu, not Kai Ginyu, like the new series did <__<*).
Don't half-ass the animation, for the love of God!

That should do.
