Newborn & scorpio no milo mentioned x-japan. im kinda late knowing them. I knew the band coz their song Tears became the soundtrack of Korean sad movie : Windstruck. I always weep when I watch the movie over and over. When the girl cries as her dead bf's spirit enters the room as thewind. The scene is accompanied by that song. "Dry you tears with love... Dry your tears with love..." Oh.... my eyes r wet, damned... Very touching movie + song!!!

Hands down, X Japan is my favorite band.  I really like their ballads, but the more "rock" songs are also really good.  And "Art of Life" is 30 mins of pure AMAZING.  The lyrics are really depressing in almost all of their songs though... I actually can't listen to "Tears" anymore because I start weeping profusely.  But the best part is listening to how BAD Toshi's English is in X Japan's earlier songs -- it never becomes great, but at least it's understandable in their later works.

Amen to Luna Sea -- "Rosier" is an awesome song.  I also like B'z, Dir en grey, L'arc-en-ciel, Spinwake.

On the more J-pop end of things, I really like Sakamoto Maaya songs... Oh, and this is a specific song, but "Open Up Your Mind" by MIRAI (it's an insert song in Gensomaden Saiyuki) is one of my favorite songs (I don't think MIRAI is actually a J-pop group, but the SONG is J-pop).  :)

@LilithLin: Really?> U could help? ^_^ U mentioned X-Japan. I actually only know 1 song: Tears. Which is also a part of a Korean movie soundtrack (WIndstruck). In the movie, there's an instrumental version of Tears. Do u have it? If u do, please pm me :) Thank u VERY MUCH in advance :)

I don't know any Japanese bands or singers... but I do like to listen to the soundtracks of anime shows (such as Saint Seiya and Nana). Anna Tsuchiya made very good music for Blast and Olivia for Trapnest.
~HAREM: Apollo, Artemis, Charon~
~SHARED: Mu, Poseidon, Isaac, Aiolos, Shaka, Aphrodite, Milo, Shiryu~
~ADOPTED: Marin, Shunrei~
