Episode 7: Holy sweet mother of all things awesome, this was like her little baby wrapped in a warm cashmere sweater with NEON lights overhead pointing the words "AWESOME DELICIOUSNESS" down below! Intense. Akira Ishida was really damn good as Asmita; I kept expecting to hear "Zura janai, Katsura da!" (Gintama reference FTW, yo), but no, the man's portrayal was excellent. You can tell he must've watched a dozen of classic StS episodes because the influence from Mitsuya Yuuji is all there. Also, Tenbou Horin's background is mad pretty. Shaka would be jealous as hell... well, perhaps "hell" isn't the best choice of words, but yeah.
Also: If I was Tenma, I'd be quite upset. It's MY show, but the guy singing my theme song continues to call out for some other fool even after 7-8 episodes. What is this, where's the common sense, yo.
Episode 8: This was even more awesome. At first I was like, "Nah that ain't possible, episode 7 was good; in fact, it was too good." But out came episode 8 and it slapped me across the face like a cheap escort and said I should reconsider. I reconsidered. Also, I felt extremely sad and sympathetic towards Sir Beetle when this happened:

Aww...

"I won't cry, I won't cry! Nooo-ohh, I won't shed a tear! Just as long, as you st
aaaand -- stand by me!"
YOU'RE MY BOY BLUE!
