Well, I grant you that if we're only relying on the drawings we see now than we can say it happened after he died. But just a simple Genrou did this to him doesn't make sense... And contradicts the original manga, Saga turned Aiolia, yes he got evil eyes but no dark hair, and when Ikki got the Genrou, no dark hair or evil eyes... So it's two different things happening here...

This mean Aspros will be on good side and replace Defteros as Gemini Goldsaint, He can do that ? because he was killed 2 years ago and now he live because Hades power. If Hades know he turn to good, he will recall his power and Aspros will be dead man agian. OMG! mean Defteros was died for nothing, Maybe he can turn his brother and kill evil in side him for good but he can't take his place as Gemini Goldsaint because he is dead man or Shion won't accept him as comrade. I don't like this outcome.

In fact, I hope defteros will win back good Apros and not died, I would like to see them use twin Galaxy Explosion on Spectors. This will not happend when Defteros is gone. Very very disappionted.

But who knows. Some other goldies appeared after their death, such as Manigoldo, Sysiphus and Asmita, why no Defteros? Like, he appears when Aspros will be in urge, and help him.

What I think will happen is that, since right now, LC is set up similar to the 12 Temple battles from the original Sanctuary chapter (which Rhadamanthys is supposedly the guardian of one of those, while Pharaoh was the first house's), they will probably reach a point where everyone gets beat and worn out (I mean the only goldies left in the LC are Regulus and Shion, we dont even know where Dohko is right now, though Dohko will probably eventually reach the LC with everyone else), and these Temple Guardians are supposedly the most elite of Hades' army, theres no way 2 gold saints can defeat 11 more by themselves.

I'm guessing that Aspros might make a dramatic appearance with a "WTF" reaction from the other gold saints who knows him, and Aspros will probably die fighting one of the strongest guardians in the LC temples, similar to Ikki vs Shaka. I'm expecting an epic Aspros vs super beefed-up Rhadamanthys with Hades's blood just like the original Hades arc of Kanon vs Rhadamanthys (though the battle with Rhadamanthys is probably reserved for Dohko, who both contain divine blood now).

As far as previous gold saints who are dead making appearances, I wouldn't leave out the possibility that the battle will eventually be taken to the underworld again, and we might see a few goldies who mastered the 8th sense appear, such as Asmita, who'll get his real moment in the series.

And dont forget, everyone came back to life at the last moment for a dramatic ultimate attack on the Elysium gate, we might see something similar here, at least Im hoping!

As far as those who are hating Aspros right now, well I kinda agree with them, but lets not forget Kanon wasn't any better before (I mean he essentially was responsible for the whole Sanctuary mess to begin with, and almost destroyed the world by releasing Poseidon and fought as one of his generals), yet he was eventually accepted and played a large role during the Hades Inferno chapter. We might get something similar with Aspros also.

it seems you didn't pay attention to things happen earlier...there are only 8 temples, so there are also only 8 guardians...Pharao wasn't a guardian, he was just there to keep an eye on the gate and curse the balance so no one can pass. Dhoko was kicked out into the Lost Canvas by Defteros, so it's quiet sure he will participate. And the battle taken to the Underworld seems way beyond everything happen until now, the fight was taken to the skies by Hades under his conditions...no need to move the whole battlefield

And about Kanon, he was sent to a death sentence from his brother - could be a massive trigger for beeing an asshole. Aspros had everything in his life and chose to be an asshole, he even chose to be more asshole than any asshole before him....no redemption for this loser

I just remember Pharaoh saying something along the line of being "The first Guardian", which made me assume he was the "boss" of the first temple, even though it was outside the LC gate. Unless Im remembering things wrong again 

Either way, whether we or the other saints like Aspros or not, I'll be expecting some major role from him. It would be too stupid to just "kill him off by Hades's power" after Defteros sacrifice himself to free him at this point.

Amarashiki, may be you forget some important fact about Kanon. He got locked in Cape Sounion by Saga because he try to tempting his twin brother  to kill Athena and Pope.

He does not bad because Saga but he has darkness in his heart from the beginning and in the contrary he is the one that try to lure another half dark personality out from Saga.  After his redemption, he was accepted and play big role in Hades Inferno chapter like YanDaMan said.

I think Teshirogi Sensei might have same plan for Aspros but we can only wait and see. I don't think she will let Defteros died without meaning and let Aspros be only one bad Gold saint in LC.

Yeah, but he had this thought because he was the second, not good to be the "popular" one. So it's quiet understandable that something was breeding in him....Aspros on the other side had everything and a brother who looked upon him and encouraged him for goodness...but what did he do????

I think the real problem for this Gemini twin is communication, all reader know that Defteros really loves his older brother but Aspros did not know so he was not sure what Defteros think about him (love or grudge) and finally felt distrustful and think that his younger brother might wants to take his place due to his hard time life.

If both of them just talk and share their feeling like when they were children, a mess won't happend but well, if that happend Athena army will be too strong so bad things must happend for the plot sake.

For Defteros, he willing to live as his brother shadow even he did not done anythings wrong. If he did not care about others said that he was born under bad star and just lived as a normal younger brother, their light and shadow status might not happend. Like Asmita said, Defteros is one reason that make his brother changed (If you not count their lack of communication and Aspros likes to think too much than the truth.)

They were educated in the idea Aspros was the good and the best, and Defteros as the bad and lower level.
When you spend a life to tell it to children they end to believe it. Their relationship were biased from the beginning.
If Defteros is at fault about the change of Aspros, it's merrily because he didn't do anything against their supposed opposition, even encouraging it, and acting as a shadow from the beginning. His behaviour drives Aspros to the conclusion that Defteros was indeed a shadow and act accordingly.

I'm agree with Lazuli that the main problem would have been communication. If they really speak about it and about their relationship, they may have ended to another conclusion that the basic opposition theory imposed by others. Or at least learn about doing something in accordance but for greater benefit.

People's behavior is shaped by other people's perceptions if from the day a kid was born, everyday, everyone telling that kid, you're a piece of crap, you can't fault the kid for acting a little crazy...

I just hope Athena or someone can settle this for both of them...

ya know something, the more i read and respond to these threads when analyzing a character and their situation, i feel smarter in the knowledge of the human psyche.  its weird but somewhat helpful towards my major i think........ thank you!
