I've finally finished a three-page fancomic based on my contribution in the "Answering Machine" topic.  There are some perspective errors, and the coloring (done with markers and colored pencils) isn't getting scanned all that well, but it will do.  Remember that my versions of the characters are aged 5-6 years from the original ones, and I've tried to stylize them to look more like American comics characters.  Also I must apologize for Shiryu's DBZ swimsuit, it was the best I could do.  Smiley

*cracks up* this is RICH! i totally love your depiction of all of them. Jabu is such a jerk, but it's a good reference that Seiya made: Shun kicked his arse.

and i loved that line Ikki said: why don't i know any NORMAL people? HAHA!

Thanks, irrelevant maverick -- it was tons of fun, and I'm using this and the Guys' Night Out one (which I'll finish next) as practice in inking and coloring.  I'm thinking of moving over to using just markers next.

I'm glad you don't mind my depictions of the characters either -- my reason for aging them is that I don't like people in the butt-kicking business not being at least done with puberty.  Wink  Lately I'm working on a version of teenager-Kiki that would be about 14.  I see this version of Kiki as being a freshman in college rather than high school, and a genius at all things technological and computerish.  I'm thinking in terms of having him save our heroes' butts in my larger fancomic Soldiers of Light:  The Deadly Game, probably by satellite using his Blackberry.  Grin

More to come, but slowly, now that the semester is starting and I have to go back to working for a living....  Roll Eyes
