I totally understand Narwe's point of view (or at the very least, the point of view of jockstrap and Adone).
If MakoScans doesn't want to continue the project atm, that's fine by me .
If they do decide to start again, I'll continue to support them and read their scans.
They did a fine job during the last year(s) and I'm very grateful for the work they've been doing (free of charge nonetheless).
I got into this series thanks to them and that I'll never forget.

I'm not going with "I understand their action". It is more than just small minded, if they aren't possible to break out of their given ways for even once. It's like in real life, you just can't always go with the normal way and never try something new. All the users together build the community and if you are providing something that is so popular that it grows even beyond your own expectations , why can't you just go with it and look over you small little world full of antique rules.....no disrespect meant to the creator of Mako, still admire what they have done, but this is just not right. They can do that kind of stuff with less popular series, but not with a Manga which was scanlated by so many people, in so many format and absolutely without any continuity. What if the other group just decided to scanlate a few volumes and then the stopp it, we should just wait another 100 chapters until Mako decides to re-open the schedule?

Well, the key thing to the internet is free. You can't force someone to do or not do something. If people want to quit, they can, at the same time, the person quiting can't stop other people from forming their own group... Nor can that person stop other people to do the same thing faster... And there's really no exclusivity to these things... : |

I translate because some people like my tran and if other people do it faster, that's their business... If I want to translate, I would still do it. And if I have no time, I might delay it or if for other reasons I can't translate, I hope people can understand... : |

Why don't you create the new LC Scanlation group "PhoenixFromTheAshes" or so?  I mean, it looks to me as if the LC team of Mako pretty much agrees to continue - and why not do it under your own label then?

Actually we are in a wait-and-see situation, because we don't know what will be SSA's actions for next week (probably no scans, but who konws?), and Mako can still take the project back.

Well, I'd suggest you simply continue working on your releases - you can always ponder under which name you finally will release them. After all, SSA supports you, too, as they wrote here

Will Mekoscan consider catching up the series now?

Considering that if everything goes according to plan we'll have released chapter 188 by the end of the week, there is really no reason for them to think that the series has been abandoned. So I don't see why they'd consider taking it up again.

Heh and ironically, isn't the last team that is behind LC when under Mako-Scans Banner is the same team that is now doing LC under NankH? 


So in a way, what difference will it make? LC release might not get any faster. Unless a new team is formed by Mako-Scans of course......
Anyhow, guess that is still that little problem of getting the RAW; ya, it's out there since Spanish & Chinese Scanlations are still appearing but who's gonna spare it to us soon after it had been release?


Okay, back to renaming those chapters.....need to settle it and clear the Harddisk before I can process the RAW.

You can still read them on Manga Fox. When that shuts down too you'll be able to download them from the links that we post in the forum.
