Well, I've always known it as Bluegrad, and it certainly makes more sense than any other suggestion, when you consider the Russian link. ^^ But, as ever, we should include the kanji/kana for it and let the readers decide on the most suitable interpretation.

Yer, alot of the names just don't have official spelling... There's only real spellings for the beginning characters from Bronze to Marina but not even all of the marina. And also sometimes the English Words are weird, KyouKou, in Cosmo Speical is  "Monk Enperor" Yes! Really!!

I see it as maybe it comes from Templar Knights as in the 'Temple Knights' so the leader of the them might be Knight Empeor but since Masami sees them as more as priests as the clue of "Cloth" from "Man of the Cloth". He changed it to 'Monk Emperor.'

Well it's kinda simple to find out the translation, if the japanese says "Burugurado" it's "Bluegrad" if it say "Buruguraido" it's Blue Glide.
Do you perhaps have a jap scan of the Cygnus tale phil? =D

As you can see it is "Buruuguraado". And by the way, "grad" makes the most sense anyway as it is a suffix in many Russian town names that is derived from the Russian word "gorod" which means "town".

Ah, thanks guys. That was one of the biggest mysteries about them, for me. Now to somehow find out what Aleksey's armour object looks like... =p

(I've seen a lot of mentions of "Crystal Cloth", but I'm SURE that's fan-invented.)

It looks a lot like the Leo Cloth, from memory... But really doesn't show any explicit details... And I know it isn't shown off Aleksey for even a second in Cygnus Story. =[

Oh, and I hope no one minds the "Mariner General" terminology. The way it seems to me, is "Mariner" is a term like "Saint", and the Generals are the Gold Saints. Thetys is a Mariner, but not a General. Oh, and where a Saint's constellation would be in their bio, put the General's Mammoth Pillar; like the Evil Stars for the Spectres. That ok? =3

And shouldn't it be "Marine General"?  At least that's the version I have seen most often. I saw them as "Marinas" or "Marine Generals". I think that should at least be added as alternative options. And good idea about the pillars.

Yer the pillars are the Generals defining position like the Zodiac of the Gold Saints. I like to call them Sea Generals but I just cut it short as 'General' following the katakana Maasmi gave. The Kanjis mean 'Sea Genearal's though, but these are minor issues really...
