Ok, I'll definitely ask you in more detail when I'm ready to buy one. Currently I don't have the resources (*cough*money*cough) or the need (*cough*drawing skills*cough*) to justify buying one yet . Btw, is GT = Graphic Tablet?

Well, about resources - you might want to look at eBay, there you sometimes can get a good deal on an older Wacom (I have a Wacom Intuous II in Din A5 (6"x8") that I could for quite a good price). About need - well, it would be learning by doing. Only with practice one gets better (unfortunately I just don't have as much time to practice as I would like to have). And yes - GT = Graphic Tablet. I'm just lazy.

you're so good at coloring!!  i like the 2nd one (since it's finishedXD) but the shading really makes a lot of difference.  i didn't notice this before but DM's toes just need to be worked on (not that i was looking)^.^

Do you create the cloth design yourself or is there an established fanart on the Ophiuchus gold cloth?

The Cloth is my own creation. It's slightly oriented in parts at the Ophiuchus Silver Cloth and a little bit I looked at the Virgo Cloth, too.  The staff was added because some time ago I saw a fanart with Shaina who had a similar staff, but the actual design of it was more an in-joke as it is the caduceus of Hermes (not Asklepios, sorry) that is also a part of the coat of arms of my hometown: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oberhausen

Btw, your gryphon drawings are really cool, Shaina! It reminds me of Kurumada, b/c he usually show the cloth by itself & when it is worn by the saint.

Well, it was intended that it looks a bit like a Cloth schematic. Actually it should work to take the parts of the presentational form bend them a little and they should turn out in the Saint Cloth that is worn. With some imagination, the legs can turn into the leg guards, the head/neck part into the arm guards, the claw+beaks into the headpiece, the wings into the breast plate, the tail into that belt and the body into a piece of armouring for the back.

BTW, I pointed out the fact that there is no gryphon constellation to LeilaVirgoSaint for whom I designed the guy, but she didn't mind and wanted a gryphon for her Saints of Athena. And as it is for a fanfic of hers, I thought, well, no problem, then I'll give her what she wants.
