EmberPrairie's Art & Photos

Yup. I like to draw and take pictures too. ^_^
A lot of the images I draw are mostly animal related. I can draw cartoon style characters, realistic-ish creatures, and some other stuff. Still got a lot to learn though. Most of the pictures I have here are drawn before classes. I arrive at class too early so I just draw whatever comes to my mind. XD
Here's some pictures of those sketches. I don't have my scanner set up and fixed yet so I had to take these with my digital camera.

Wizard Cat-
Toon Style Brown Hyena -
Anime Style Soldier -
Crazy Bird -
Toon Style Dragon -
Flying Bird -
Whitetail Deer -
Gnome Warlock & Epic Warlock Mount -
Feral Unicorn -

I'm also starting to take some good photographs with my digital camera. When I have the chance I try to take images of different subjects in nature. Most of the images I have are of plants, insects, and landscapes. Enjoy! ^_^

Cypress Gardens - Moncks Corner, SC
(One part of this swamp has some ruins that were used in the film The Patriot. Sadly, I don't have any pictures of the ruins but the next time I go out there I hope I can get some pictures of them)
From The Reptile Exhibit -

Blue Ridge Parkway - North Carolina Area
Black Bear From Grandfather Mountain Exhibit -

Other - Random Pictures
New Charleston Bridge -
Charlie From Drawing Class -

That's all for now. As for pictures I hope to get some good ones when I go up to Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC sometime this week.

Thank you! ^_^

Great pictures, but you need a camera with a better focal distance (name in English?). The objects close to the camera are a bit blurred.

And fantastic drawings too!

Thank you for the wonderful comments! ^_^
Van Fanel: Thank you! :) I'm using the Canon PowerShot SD800 IS Digital Elph. I agree, the images will turn out blurry when I zoom in too much. Hopefully once I get better at taking pictures I'll get a better camera. I need to practice more on shots. ^_^

Here's some images from the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC.

Those are beautiful photographs, Ember. More please... Although the bird pic looks kinda scary :D Its big beady eyes... staring at me directly... haunting me :D

(Endy yells at the bird: "Stop staring at me or I'll slap you!")
