mmm, maybe Kido started producing offsprings around the world at really young age, when he finds baby Saori he looks old, so its possible that he took all his children then, all of them no matter the age, in the manga doesn't say the age of all his kids. so its possible this way, to be a saint is necesary to start at young age, so only his younger children survived, the older ones died.

SS universe mentioned the word for the dead. 'Interestingly' we didnt see Mitsumasa in the world of the dead? I think it would be a great plot if Hades took hold of Mitsumasa coz he knew that Saori would care about Mitsumasa.... I wonder why Kurumada didnt explore that part.... I think it would have made a continuous and consistent plot, since we see Mitsumasa in the early chapters.

And what do we know about early chapters carrying weight for the later ones? Oh right! THEY DON'T. Kuru-man forgot, probably.

i think we had a discussion in another thread about him not being zeus. also we probably didn't see him there because he was only important to the manga during the first few volumes.

I don't think he did, to be honest. >> I bet he thought that 100 just sounded like an impressive number.

It was stated pretty clearly that all the Bronzes are half-brothers from Kido who were sent to train as Saints. The kids he sent were his own. 90 disappeared (we don't know that they died or not, but we do know they were never revealed beyond that), leaving 10. Though, does Seiya's sister count towards that number, or did he just never send any daughters? Maybe she was supposed to be sent, before the anime had her fall through the world (literally, the last time anyone says they saw her, she was running after Seiya, fell, then nothing).
Obviously, even if he's not supposed to be Zeus, he's supposed to symbolize the Greek hornball. We'll see what Zeus actually looks like later in ND, hopefully.

SS Zeus will more likely to be a tall, handsome, young guy like Poseidon and Hades. I highly doubt Zeus will personify Mitsumasa but I guess we'll see soon enough. Why I doubt this? Because Mitsumasa isn't a god reincarnate. He was just a simple tourist visiting Greece and happened to be at the place where he picked up baby Athena. And the 100 children part is just a random add on. How realistically Mitsumasa have 100 children under the condition he will have to sacrifice later on to become Saints? Obviously very unrealistic. He may or may not symbolize Zeus. Time can only tell to confirm all this.

Come on...he's Zeus, King of the Gods! He needs to look like this: Hell, I'd take Disney's take on Zeus over another effeminate god...At least Poseidon's armor showed his real body probably had a beard. We'll just assume Hades perserved his body when he was still in his youth. But yeah, I meant Kido was supposed to be symbolic of Zeus with their shared tendencies. Zeus ****ed everything that moved, that got him a lot of kids.
