I defently dont think crying makes a man less of a man, crying is a great way of venting ones anger, sadness or frustration and even in certain special moments even happiness.
There are some great episodes where some tears were worth shedding, but there is one in particular where i just cant hold myself and thats the one where Kanon redeems himself buy accepting Milo´s Scarlet needle. Honest redemption for ones sins is a pure and rare feeling, it was greatly represented in that episode in Hades chapter.

Sometimes I had cried and yes it happened with SS. Why? Just some memories when I was kid, like I wrote in other thread SS meant a lot to me it change my life and yes I had cried watching some episodes, in real life too. Crying for me help to clean the soul and evertyhing what Orion said.

Hi All,

Great posts.  Glad to see that this thread is still alive and kicking!

Orion,  yes, the scene with Kanon is truly moving.  He certainly does redeem himself in a major way during the Hades arc.  Kudos also to Milo, for having the capacity in his heart to see true remorse and determination in Kanon.

Bud_alcor, if you don't mind me asking, which episodes did you find to be really moving?

Theres alot of sappy moments in SS, one of the saddest has to been when Esmeralda was killed, the other when Shun spoke to the Judge who told him he did many things wrong, and how he always tried to do good etc, when Athena took her own life and the bronze saints were crying. Another was when Shaka's soul regressed and came back and just as he left they were about to tell the trought but saw they were being watched.

But to be honest, I dont think I have cried during any episodes, but i personally think its ok for a man to cry, just not for any reason...

Do people know why we shed tears when we are full of emotion anyways? I heard somewhere its the souls way of getting rid of some of the emotion overflowing and thought that was kinda nice

Yeah there were many times I'm thinking 'why do I cry right now' especially with chick flicks because some people around me are not crying like Kanato and it's embarassing.  Or when we went to see Passion of the Christ in theatres, my cousin looked at me and asked if I were crying.  I turned to him abruptly and told him 'yes! why aren't your crying you heartless person?'  it's the girl inside me. T.T

It's all depends on my mood...Sometimes watching Saint Seiya I was crying, for example when Milo was choking Camus or when Camus put Hyoga in ice coffin, but on another really sad moment like Shaka's death I was laughing because I remembered my sister (who is...hm, not fond in Saint Seiya) silly commentsXD
Generally I think crying is good thing, when you don't do it too often. Sometimes I just cry without any serious reason, pr sometimes I watch movie and I can't stop crying. When I was in cinema on  Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron some strangers gave me tissues and tried to console me XD.
But anyway, I understand why a lot of guys think that crying along other people is shameful, but everybody should cry sometimes.

And most of guys that I know have admitted that they were crying on Lion King : ) I think it's kind of sweet...

I get emotional when watching movies.  I just loose all conscience-ness that I'm watching the video and feel like I'm in it.. ^.^;  I'm just drawn to it and get happy when they are, sad when it's a sad moment...

I tend to get invovled and emotional when I watching movies.  My little sister on the other hand will just look at me and go "What are you getting so worked up about?  It's just a movie."
