Well, Milo was shocked as hell to learn there were "12" Gold Saints. I'm thinking that the two meant active. If not, maybe the other ten have yet to be jewelified.

Does anyone else get a shiver down their spine every time they show the bronzies?
63  Like To Chat? / Anime/Manga / Re: Legend of the Galactic Heroes on: April 08, 2012, 06:09:14 AM
i've got the eps but haven't found the time to watch it. I'm a bit afraid that due to it's length, the quality of the story will drop for quite some time and will become annoying.

Same here. I got them but I'm a little nervous about starting it since it looks like something you have to pay close attention to

Nail Polish?

Camus in the manga had red nails too. Is there some sort of Japanese culture/myth thing that I'm missing about people with red nails?

Next Dimension is good but too slow Sad I wonder why.... I know drawing is hard but it's too slow. Lost Canvas has already ended. Next Dimension is still not even half-way finished.

After looking through the past chapters, I have a feeling it has to do with having too many ongoing character plots going on at once. Let's think about this we have:

-Tenma/Shun going through the Temples
-Syikyo going at his own pace with the past Specters attacking with Ikki following in the background
-Shijima/Baby Athena being chased by Cardinale with a false Pope
-Cain and Abel planning something
-Touma/Marin with Hyoga there as support for Unconscious Seiya
-Artemis and Callisto
-Hecate and Chronos overseeing the time travel
-Shion and Dohko since they will play an important part, being the only survivors when all is said and done
-Pandora and Alone

We haven't even put Shiryu in the equation and this isn't including, the other Judges, and the possibility that unnamed Gold Saints may play an important role and Izo.
All of this is happening at the same time and while having this many threads isn't impossible to handle, it is no easy task to balance them especially when it involves a visual medium without it feeling like its going all over the place.

I love Next Dimension and the massive amounts of Shun it has, but there are so many things that I wish have a conclusion. The only thing we got is Ox is dead.

Well the thing in the anime, at least in the english ADV dub,

June is like: Sanctuary sent a Gold Saint.
Shun then answers: Milo, of Scorpio.
June: Yes!

Oh, here's a plot hole, how did Shun guess it was Milo who attacked Andromeda Island when he never met him?

Found this on Deviant Art. Miss Jose created the perfect prelude to this series as to what happened to the other Bronzies.

I can live with them not having Cloth boxes and using magical transformations. But, why the transformation jewels have to be so, plain? Sailor Moon may have had staffs, but at least those staffs have the sign of their planets on them.

I would've liked if they could've put a little creative middle ground and maybe have them hold jewels that resemble they statue form of their Cloths.

I'm probably the only one who remembers this show, but in this cartoon, they carry around jewels on their belts and they used them to transform and then they put them back on them when they fought except if they need their magic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDxOx24EHzQ

Just saw a slightly different commercial for Saint Seiya Ω while watching TV Asahi. It has Mars in it. Wonder if anyone recorded that commercial.

Someone did. It is on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fs5nCwH9hCM&feature=g-u-u&context=G27ca26eFUAAAAAAAAAA

Concerning the newest scan. For the people still freaked out by the character designs, if you avoid looking at anything from the neck down, they kind of look like traditional Saint Seiya characters

fixed.

Most of the Cloth designs, aren't as bad as I thought they would be and I can deal with them. They are generic, with only the shoulder pads, the colors, and the helmets being the main difference. There are a couple of nice touches, the Orion Cloth having a bigger glove, reminds me of the club from the movie design. I also like the new Sagittarius wings better than the old, just because the old looked a bit too big and clunky, and here there are folded enough to prominent but allow Seiya to have agility. But what the heck is with that one tattered scarf sticking out? It really looks stupid.

The only Cloth design I hate is the Aquila one. Before, when I saw first shot of it, I thought it just didn't fit. When I saw the normal Cloths, I liked the earthy colors of her dress and the leather boots was a nice touch.

Now that I've gotten a better look at the Cloth itself, it is horrible.
Who thought that puffy princess sleeves, a short set of cloth wings, a giant tutu, and stripper boots was a good combination? Good lord, the concept art makes it look like she's going to have a panty shot every time she takes a step. At least with the other Cloths, I can tell who is who, but hers, the only thing that can be connected with an Eagle is the wings, and even then they might as well call her a Dove.

My theory, they are milking the Marin/Aiolia shippers by possibly having a Aquila/Leo set.

This is so beautiful... it is a sign we won't have to wait a whole freaking year for the next part.
74  The Sanctuary / Quiz+Selectors / Based on what is currently known about Saint Seiya Omega, you feel... on: February 14, 2012, 11:40:11 AM
This subject definitely needs a poll. It is open for about forty days, but the option to change your vote is there if a trailer comes and sways you in another direction.

Edit: Changed "I feel" to "you feel" in title.
75  Saint Seiya / Saint Seiya Myth Cloth News / Re: Harpy Valentine!! on: February 12, 2012, 06:47:27 AM
If I remember correctly, the Japanese pronounce Happy as "Harpy" so since the Evil Star is called Harpy, Kurumada choose to give his name as Valentine. Cheesy

Throw in the fact that his attack is called "Sweet Chocolate" Grin

Whoa, that's so cool. I have a question, is there any pun related to his other attack, Greed the Life?
