Manga / Re: Episode G and Next Dimension help!!!
« on: June 30, 2017, 10:38:24 PM »
My friend and I are having the same trouble and I was hoping someone can provide a link where the translation for Episode G is past Ch 42? I think the link provided here is down now. Is there anywhere else we could read a more complete version or at least past 42? :( (Thanks for taking the time to read this!)

Soul of Gold / Re: Soul of Gold 2!! :D

Do you mean a promo for the Spanish dub of SoG? I could see that, but why would they include the exclusive 'Gold Saints with Libra Weapons' in the entire opening? Unless Toei is just going "Soul of Gold was a thing. Hey. These figures are also a thing. Buy them." XD

Speaking of Spanish dub, has anyone seen episodes of the dub posted yet?

They made a small little promo thing for the figures. (does this still make SoG 2 up in the air or?)

This is a super old ass thread but I saw your doujin recently and it was really interesting!! :0 Tbh I almost feel like I can see this happening in canon, pretty uncanny how on point the doujin was with the sts universe. I'm really glad I read this.

They just announced a new pachinko game. It has additional content to the Poseidon arc.

Ah, I misread that then phfhgh sorry! And yes, it would be refreshing for improvements to be made for some of the anime aspects. The possibilities! If the reboot is made, I hope it's a nice balance between the anime and manga concepts. I think Saint Seiya Senki did the best on that, adding in scenes and even getting lines directly from the manga. (Shaka telling Ikki about the encounter between them in the island that only happened in the manga) Tbh I think the only let down in that game was Shura, as they still had him be "the most faithful saint of Athena" but then they went ahead and tried adding manga cores to him anyway and it... just didn't work in my opinion. Here's to hoping we're getting this reboot to begin with.

That would be nice as long as they eliminated all that crap filler, barring Asgard. I thought the new feature was Saintia Sho?

That definitely is the new feature. Though in my eyes it's still possible that the reboot would be a different feature kept under wraps. (also I like the Asgard arc a lot actually, but to each their own. Maybe they can improve the Poseidon arc a little as well?)

Same. And if they are working on a Saint Seiya project, it might support a theory I made awhile back concerning this: Among the new features presented, there is a new CG anime and a live-action movie and a possible new feature: a new version of the 1986 classic anime. Kozo said that, unfortunately, he still cannot say more information due to contractual issues, but the panel exhibited an unprecedented material in Brazil: a clip with the best moments of the Sanctuary saga in high definition, new versions of two openings (one of the saga of the Sanctuary and another of Asgard and Poseidon), as well as excerpts from the remake of classic fights (Pegasus vs. Taurus, for example).

What they showed was actually clips from the Pachinko game but they didn't present it as such or made any mention that it came from that. Since it was shown in relation to a new version of the 1986 classic anime, my theory was if they did do a reboot, it would be in that pachinko art style.

Seeing as Sasaki was one of the mains for the pachinko game, if they really are currently working on an sts project it would support my theory a lil more. Of course as I said, it's only a theory.

I feel a little weird doing a third post when activity has been so slow but I feel this might be worth mentioning. There's a lot of speculation with the new upcoming projects, Sho being the main focus. There was also talk about a possible SoG 2. What I'm interested in the most, is finding out who is working on it or things concerning the staff. It was definitely a real miss in SoG and I'm hoping to see familiar names attached to the new upcoming content.

Basically I saw Noriyo Sasaki, the director for one of the Hades OVAs, who also worked on/storyboarded the pachinko game, make a tweet about "being in a hurry to return to the Studio" aka working on something.

It was google translated but I double checked by asking my friend since he could somewhat read kanji.

So basically... I could only assume it may 'possibly' be saint seiya content since it's in relation to saint seiya merch. And if SO, what could they be working on?

Personally if it's confirmed that Sasaki is working on one of the animated projects I'd be pleased as punch. I like their style (in the Hades and the Pachinko especially) and feel they'd definitely have the fanbase's interest at heart since they really do love the characters. Their Saint Seiya sketches always make me happy when I'm feeling down.

Games / Re: Saint Seiya Sanctuary PS3

I just finished the main story on this game. It's a huge blast so far! I'm enjoying it just a little more than Soldier's Soul. I like being able to explore the temples and most of all, the interactions between characters are so interesting!! From the dialogue in the story, to the special lines they say to each other when you pick the right characters. As someone who likes to over-analyze content, all the extra little tidbits and interactions are really something to dwell over. Loving it.

Games / ND reference in Saint Seiya Senki?
« on: April 16, 2017, 07:25:04 PM »
I was playing Aiolos's route in the story and at one point he said something that really confused me.

"What should I do once I make it out of the Sanctuary?"

"Perhaps I should visit the Old Master in the Five Old Peaks."

"The Libra Saints balance the good and evil in all Saints' hearts. I've heard that he played the role of evil in the past. What's more, the Old Master survived the previous holy war. I need to visit him with Athena explain the situation."

I know that in Next Dimension he's pretending to be on Hades's side for some reason (I haven't been keeping up tbh so I'm a lil lost on that as well but I know it's a thing he did) but would this be a reference then? Also this game came out Years Ago and I'm assuming the whole Dohko appearing to be on evil's side thing happened in later chapters? Or could this possibly be a reference to something else?

Episode G / Re: Episode G.A #72
« on: April 11, 2017, 10:55:19 PM »
Really?? My friend was reading through it and telling me about it (granted his kanji isn't the best) but that's what.... he told me what was going on. Also I just asked him right now and he responded "i guessed he was a ghost bc he mentioned that he'd only be able to fight back against mu telepathically/spiritually" so... I suppose it was a hunch. Sorry about misleading input;; I'll delete my original comment then.
